Mithridate RTW Fall 2021

Chinese label Mithridate, named after the King of Pontus, made its international debut with a fall collection reimagined by multimedia artists Ania Catherine and Dejha Ti as a digital experience called “Automatiste” for the London Fashion Week digital showcase. Through machine-learning algorithms, artificial intelligence and real-time extended reality technologies, several looks are being reinterpreted as a piece of art.

The Look: Classic and easy-to-wear pieces with pretty details. A bit of everything for all.

Quote of note: “The approach toward Mithridate’s debut on the digital schedule was to explore innovative technologies, embracing new possibilities presented by this new fashion landscape. Through this multimedia experience created, it allows viewers to be immersed in a game-ified world whilst using their devices as portals of discovery to explore the collection,” said Demon Zhang, founder and creative director of Mithridate.
