The glamorous state dinner was held in honour of the Spanish royal couple at the presidential Bellevue Palace, in Germany. For the occasion, Queen Letizia chose a stunning red cape dress.
Queen Letizia looked incredible in a red Stella McCartney gown with one-shouldered cape detail.
The Spanish monarch previously wore this design for King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands’ 2017 birthday party in The Hague.
The Stella McCartney’s Cecilia dress is an elegant design featuring an asymmetrical cape train. The gown is no longer available but it used to retail for around £2,435.
For the state dinner in Germany, she combined the dress with a gold clutch bag and donned a pair of sparkling drop earrings.

Queen Letizia wore her diamond and ruby chandelier earrings for the state dinner, which she debuted in February 2017 and wore again for the royal birthday party in the Netherlands that same year.
The jewel features 216 cascading diamonds and 12 rubies but its designer or origin remains a mystery.
Letizia combined it with a matching ruby flower bracelet that belonged to her mother-in-law Queen Sofia and that she already wore during her state trip to Korea in 2019.
