Bruce Springsteen was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in New Jersey in November.
Springsteen was arrested at New Jersey’s Gateway National Recreation Area on November 14 on charges including driving while intoxicated (DWI), reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area.
According to New Jersey’s Asbury Park Press, Springsteen’s blood alcohol content was just .02, a quarter of the state’s legal limit of .08, when he was arrested in November.
Reports says he has an upcoming court appearance in the next few weeks.
Springsteen’s arrest comes just weeks after he released his 20th studio album Letter to You, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
With the success of Letter to You, he became the first act with new top five-charting albums in each of the last six decades.
