Rock singer Eddie Money‘s estate has sued USC’s Keck Hospital for bad medical treatment over a year after the late singer passed in September 2019.
According to a source close to the singer, Money, who suffered from stage-4 esophageal cancer, passed away at the hospital due to complications that arose during a heart valve procedure.
Money’s estate has officially sued the university hospital, as well as three doctors in particular – Mark Cunningham, Leonard Clavijo, and John Anderson-Dam – for medical negligence and wrongful death.
The estate places the blame squarely on the hospital for failing to properly trains its medics to care for Money.
