Holly Willoughby proudly shows off her very own loaf of bread as she bakes with her children during lockdown

This Morning host Holly Willoughby took tips from chef Phil Vickery and baked her own loaf of bread at home amid the coronavirus lockdown.

Holly, 39, shared a picture of herself at home proudly holding up the bread and revealed that her three children, sons Harry and Chester and daughter Belle, were shocked at her success.

She wrote: “Wow… thank you @chefphilvickery I did it!! Kids can’t believe it… much fun had by everyone… now the best bit… yum! Xxx #thismorning #bakeoff.”

Holly looks as pretty as a picture as she wears a fresh white jumper with a green hairband sitting atop her blonde hair, which was in its signature loose waves.

Holly’s celebrity pals commented underneath her snap to congratulate her on the baking success.

Nicole Appleton, who recently welcomed a surprise baby girl named Skipper, wrote: “Brilliant!", while The One Show’s Matt Baker wrote: “Hooray another Baker.”

Holly’s success in the kitchen comes after she revealed on This Morning that she is suffering from mood swings as a result of the lockdown.

She told viewers she was feeling "desperately sad" after spending the weekend in coronavirus isolation.

Holly told viewers that she was switching between feeing really sad or very happy and wanted to return to a "happy medium”.

She said: "I swing between, there's no medium ground. I'm either ridiculously, euphorically happy or desperately sad and I don't know what to do. I just want a medium ground."

On Tuesday’s This Morning, Holly broke down as she watched a clip of a family in Kent singing during the coronavirus isolation.

In the viral clip, the family played instruments and altered the lyrics of the iconic song to include references to the coronavirus lockdown as they sang: “will we ever meet our friends?”, “I am bored of being with you” and “sunshine is a bummer when we’re stuck inside”.

The video, posted by Ben Marsh on Facebook, has been viewed more than 3.5 million times and Holly and Phil showed the clip on This Morning today.
