A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman had a bit of a mishap this morning, while attempting to repair a broken item. The 45-year-old TV star turned to her Instagram followers for help after supergluing her fingers together.

The mum-of-two, who shares daughter Joy and son Albion with her husband Jon Boast, appeared to be mending a navy blue hairband with a bow.

Jasmine in view of her 62,000 followers asked: “How to get superglue off?”

She went on to explain: “While trying to ‘reuse, repair, recycle’ I’ve managed to superglue my fingers together… any tips?”

Jasmine, who has been a vegan for a number of years, is clearly trying to reduce her waste and repair broken items, instead of rushing out to the shops to buy a new one.

In the accompanying picture, the Channel 4 presenter could be seen with her thumb and forefinger stuck together along with a piece of thread, which looked to be attached to the bow of a hairband.

A shocked emoji was added to her social media post.

A few days ago, Jasmine posted a radiant make-up free selfie online and spoke about feeling more confident in her own skin as she gets older.

“I feel like, at 45, this is me and you can like it or not. I will not let it affect me,” she confidently informed.

The candid snap showed the fresh-faced presenter at home with “no make up / no filter / woke-up-like-this hair”.

She went on to discuss the dangers of comparing yourself to others on social networking sites.

“Everything we see on social media is a snapshot of someone else’s life so don’t compare yourself to others. “Be kind and happy,” she signed off.

A Place In The Sun continues today at 3pm on Channel 4.
