Karrueche Tran sometimes acts, sometimes models, and has at least one side-business, a jewelry brand. She was good in Claws and I follow her on Instagram because she’s super pretty and she’s one of few celebrities that shares my background. Anyway, Karrueche is hosting a new fashion competition show called Upcycle Nation, that is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. She did an interview with E! News where she talked about what’s in her bag and touted the benefits of moisturizing.
We caught up with Karrueche Tran, host of the new fashion competition show Upcycle Nation, to see what items she keeps on-hand to get her through a busy day of filming.
“You can never have enough products,” says Karrueche. “You can never have enough lip products. You can never moisturize enough. So I just always make sure that I have everything that I need.”
From a nasal spray she uses to fight allergies to all the lip products she needs to keep her pout moisturized and looking great, Karrueche’s must-have products are super relatable.
We also feel the need to be prepared to combat an allergy strike or dry skin, especially in fall and winter. And Karrueche’s love for lip products? We feel that on another level. “I’m usually the one that has at least five different lipglosses,” says the fashion show host. “And they’re usually in the same pinkish, nude-ish tone.”

So I really thought that it was going to be all about skincare and those type of moisturizers because Karrueche has amazing skin. But her must-haves are pretty much a list of a million lip products. Half of which I’ve tried and agree are great, so props to her for choosing affordable stuff, like Palmer’s and Aquaphor. And I also love Urban Decay and Charlotte Tilbury has great colors. I disagree that you can never have enough products in general — I hate having a ton of clutter and a million jars and bottles to finish up. But I do agree about the lip colors — I also have a lot of lip colors and most of them are in the “your lips, but better” family. I wish Karrueche’s list had included some skincare though, since hers is pretty aspirational. It also did include some other practical stuff, like tissues and hand sanitizer and tampons. Maybe next time! But did anyone else chuckle that her favorite perfume is called “Good Girl Gone Bad?”
