Love Island stars Will Young and Jessie Wynter sent fans into a frenzy this weekend when they sparked engagement rumours during a romantic trip to Paris.
The 23 year old farmer first got fans talking when he shared a snap of him holding the Aussie bombshell, 26 in his arms outside of the famous Sleeping Beauty castle as Disneyland Paris, a favourite spot with couples hoping to pop the question.
Sporting matching blue sweatshirts emblazoned with Mickey Mouse the couple even wore a pair of the iconic Mickey ears during the fun day out.
Captioning the post, Will wrote: “No words can describe how much I love and adore this girl! I still can't believe that we are in Paris and going to Disneyland.
“This was honestly the most magical and best day ever, and so fortunate I get to spend it with Jessie.”
He then continued: “Travelling and spending all this time together just gets me so excited for the future and crazy to think we have only known each other for 4 months!!”
“I can't wait for our next adventure, possibly going back to Jessie's home and creating even more memories.”
It wasn’t just Will looking towards the future either, as Jessie soon teased their future plans as she added: “Love you so damn much!! Exciting things to come.”
The romantic getaway was initially all Jessie’s idea, as she wanted to surprise Will with something special to celebrate his birthday this week.
Revealing the logic behind her plan, Jessie told her fans: “In the villa, I asked Will where he would like to travel and he said Paris. SO for his birthday his family and I surprised him with a trip to Paris.”
“Paris was also on my bucket list but I didn't think I'd be going anytime soon or ticking it off with someone I'm so in love with.
She then concluded: “Who would have thought that a girl all the way from little Tasmania and a farmer from the country in the UK would be madly in love visiting Paris together. Love you, Will.”
The trip itself could easily have just been a smitten getaway, but many fans are convinced that wedding bells may also soon be on the cards for the couple, as Jessie’s UK visa is due to expire at the end of May, meaning she will need to return to Australia – with Will potentially even travelling with her.
One fan wrote: “Love yewwww guysssssss. First Love Island wedding 2023 hopefully in the foreseeable future,” to which Will replied: “Agreed.”
A second fan then weighed in and wrote: “You two were meant to meet and find each other. The place you met doesn’t matter, it’s the timing that’s important.”
A third then said: “I’m actually sobbing. This is so adorable,” while a fourth chimed in: “So happy for you both! You deserve all the love and happiness.”
