Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams’ reality show ‘cancelled after low ratings’

Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams are expecting their second child but it won’t be documented on TV as the pair’s reality show has reportedly been cancelled due to low ratings.

Spencer and Vogue’s preparation for the birth of son Theodore was filmed for the first series of their show, called Spencer, Vogue and Baby Too.

The pair’s second wedding with friends and family in London was then filmed for a second series, Spencer, Vogue and Wedding Two.

However, according to The Sun, a third season of the reality show will not be happening due to falling ratings and representatives for Vogue and Spencer reportedly negotiating a higher pay check for them.

A TV insider told The Sun: “Spencer and Vogue’s first show, which followed their journey into parenthood, was really successful.

“But the second instalment, which covered the run-up to their wedding, failed to set the world alight.

“When there were talks about making a third series, it was eventually decided it wasn’t commercially viable.

“Plus, Spencer and Vogue’s team tried to negotiate a bigger and more lucrative package and it wasn’t working.

“There was talk about following their journey into becoming parents for a second time after Vogue announced her pregnancy earlier this March, but it all just fell through.

“There was a suggestion the show could move to another channel, but it’s still very much up in the air.”

E4 said in a statement: "We've loved following Spencer and Vogue from the beginning as they welcomed baby Theodore, right through to finally celebrating with the wedding ceremony of their dreams, and we look forward to working with them on other projects in the future."

Vogue, 34, and Spencer, 31, are expecting their second child and have announced that they are having a baby girl.

Speaking on Lorraine recently, Vogue revealed she took a test at 10 weeks to find out the gender of her baby because she and Spencer were "so impatient".

The Irish star explained that her baby is due at the end of July and she's so excited because she's going to be welcoming a baby girl – a little sister to join her one year old son Theo.

She told 60 year old Lorraine Kelly: "Baby’s due towards the end of July, and it’s a girl which is even more exciting because we did think it was a boy for about a week.

She continued: “We did a test at 10 weeks because we were so impatient. You can do a blood test which can tell you."
