Quarantine won’t stop “Tan Mom” Patricia Krentcil from seeing the (artificial) sun.
Krentcil, 51, announced she’ll be hosting a “QuaranTANned” benefit concert from her new home in Tampa, Florida, with proceeds going to her children, charity — and a new tanning bed for her at-home salon, which will be for her sole use.
“I’m planning on bringing the tan to me if we’re stuck here for a long while,” she said in a statement.
“Tan Mom” first made headlines in 2012 upon getting arrested for child endangerment after allegedly taking her then-5-year-old daughter into a tanning bed in New Jersey. A grand jury declined to indict her.
Krentcil spent some of 2019 in a medically induced coma after suffering cardiac arrest and severe pneumonia. Given her major health scare, Krentcil is isolating herself with her husband and kids amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The benefit concert will take place on Friday, April 17, and will stream via the StageIt platform. She’ll be performing her songs “Free 2 Be Me”, “Money Maka’” and her new single “Glossy” with partner Adam Barta.
A portion the proceeds will go to God’s Love We Deliver to benefit those most at-risk for COVID-19, she said.
