Aldi's baby and toddler event is back – and prices start from just £1.30

ALDI'S toddler and baby event is back again with dozens of deals for shoppers to snap up.

The drive sees baby essentials, such as cups, baby wipes, strollers and toys on offer for excellent bargains.

It's the second time this year the event has taken place, but last time saw only limited items being stocked in shops.

This was because Aldi was complying with the government's lockdown rules, which saw only essential shops remain open from March 23 to June 15.

Several items are still available online only, while others can be bought online or in store.

If you're purchasing anything online, Aldi offers free delivery for transactions over £30, otherwise delivery costs a minimum of £2.95.

Aldi has listed whether each item is an online exclusive or will be available in store too, so make sure you check before heading out.

To find your nearest branch, used Aldi's store locator tool.

The latest event includes big brands like Tommee Tippee, as well as Aldi's own range. Here, we take you through our top picks:

The cups were available last time and are back again – and in four colours, red, blue, purple or green.

They're ideal to help your baby switch from being fed to drinking on their own.

The same cup is available to buy from Asda where it costs £1.45 so you'll be saving 16p by shopping at Aldi.

For busy kids who want to carry their own toys, the Mermaid backpack features a fun design and plenty of space.

It also has reins, which is ideal for parents who are worried about their toddlers wandering off.

The closest backpack we could find that is similar to the Mermaid one on the high street is the LittleLife toddler backpack in a dinosaur style, which costs £20 from JoJo Maman Bebe.

Other stores sell reins and backpacks separately.

The ideal kit for new parents who want to baby proof their homes, this 24 piece safety pack includes a door stopper, appliance lock, 8 drawer latches and 14 corner cushions.

A similar pack, with 14 pieces, is available from Argos and costs £24.99, which makes Aldi's £17 cheaper.

My Babiie Baby Stroller, £49.99 buy it now

Known for its Billie Faiers ranges, the My Babiie stroller features a rain cover, water resistant material and lightweight material.

To buy it from the My Babiie website, a similar version, in a stripy design, costs £69.98.

A marble version from George, Asda, is also more expensive at £69.99.

There is also a harness, moveable headrest and shoulder strap, so you can adjust it to suit your youngster's needs.

A similar version from Argos is priced at £199.99, which means Aldi's version will save you £50.

The kids event isn't the only deal that Aldi is offering at the moment.

It recently launched a 99p garlic bread pizzas that shoppers say ‘taste just like Domino’s’.

The supermarket is also selling a colour-in ice cream van cardboard cut out for kids.

And it has also listed a mud kitchen for children to play with in the garden.
