After the boredom of lockdown, the government’s Eat Out to Help Out was a welcome treat.
The scheme offers diners 50% off meals up to £10 per head when eating in UK restaurants.
It is available from Monday to Wednesday through August.
The scheme was announced in July by Chancellor Rishi Sunak with the hopes that it could help the 1.8m hospitality workers who were out-of-work during the coronavirus lockdown.
And the money-saving programme should boost the industry to help businesses recover.
The deal is available at some of the nation’s favourite fast-food restaurants.
KFC, McDonald’s, Burger King and Wetherspoons are all taking part – which is great for families.
But, people aren’t always making the most of the discount.
