Insecurities can creep into even the best of relationships, but how do you know when to brush off those troublesome doubts and when to trust your instincts?
Most of us like to think we would know if our partner was having an affair but the signs may sometimes be less obvious than you’d think.
But ex high-class escort Samantha X, 46, – a former British journalist currently based in Australia – has now revealed the subtle indications that could give a cheating partner away.
Samantha X – whose real name is Amanda Goff – told news.com.au’s Not Here To Make Friends podcast that one of the little-known hints someone is being unfaithful could be coming home with wet hair because it shows they have showered elsewhere.

She also insisted that partners would have continued to cheat throughout the coronavirus lockdown.
The former high-class escort said that despite the restrictions put in place during the coronavirus pandemic, affairs are still going on.
‘Men still cheat in lockdown, absolutely,’ she said. ‘They will find a way. It doesn’t matter how busy or if he’s always at work, they find a way.’

She went on to add that there would always be ways for those having affairs to do so, saying: ‘You make it happen, even if it’s just 10 minutes on the way home.’
The former high-class escort also suggested that lovers should listen out for subtle cues in conversation if they suspect their partner is being unfaithful.
‘When they become very anti-cheating – if someone suddenly becomes very sanctimonious and judgmental about people who cheat – I think that’s a good sign they’re doing it themselves,’ she said.
Speaking on news.com.au’s Not Here To Make Friends podcast, the former London journalist (pictured) also insisted that lockdown rules would not have stopped people from cheating
Samantha previously opened up about her giant leap from journalism to prostitution in her 30s during an interview with This Morning.
The divorced mother-of-two said: ‘Being separated with two young children and a succession of dates left me feeling disempowered.
‘I thought, “I’m a 38-year-old woman I’m going to take the power back”. I’ve always loved the company of men and enjoyed sex so why not get paid for what I was doing for free?’

She added: ‘It was a decision I made in my thirties. I was always fascinated by it.
‘Of course, there was Billie Piper in Confessions of a Call Girl – that was my training. I would put the DVDs on and watch those.
Talking about her decision to go public she said: ‘I didn’t want to get caught on the doorstep in the dressing gown and slippers. I just thought, “Own it!”. I’m not ashamed.’
