Inside Liam Payne’s stunning penthouse apartment with rooftop bar, floating walls and water feature

Liam Payne has given his fans a glimpse inside the lavish penthouse apartment he is living in during the coronavirus lockdown.

The stunning London bachelor pad, which is just one of many the One Direction star has in his property portfolio, has an incredible rooftop area, a modern kitchen as well as an unusual water feature.

Liam, 26, showed off where he has been staying for the past two months while in quarantine in his new YouTube series where he has whipped up scrambled eggs, given his reactions to fan memes and sent congratulations to Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid on their baby news.

Talking directly to his 2.8million subscribers, Liam has given an insight into his life during quarantine and revealed how he filmed a music performance for James Corden's Late Late Show.

Showing off incredible aerial shots of his rooftop where he sang his latest single as well as inside his home he explained it was all filmed by drone.

"Programming a drone to go around your house to film a performance is really hard. Going down the walkways and then outside. We were worried about the neighbours watching… It was like shouting and singing it was weird, but we do what we have to do!"

The drone shots show off the amazing rooftop and the incredible views of the London skyline on top of his building, in the city centre.

There's a large all-white bar, as well as a black seating area big enough for around 20 people, surrounded by walls covered in plants.

A trendy barbecue stands by the bar, as well a dog statue and artwork that adorns the brickwork right next to the sliding doors.

Inside, where Liam sits to record his YouTube series Stay At Home and Chill With Me, there's an arty water feature that sits in the middle of a floating wall that separates the dining area from his living room.

The living room hosts plenty of family photos as well as comfy chairs and a huge circular mirror on the wall.

Over in the state-of-the-art kitchen, where Liam whipped up some scrambled eggs after being asked by a fan to do some cooking, the singer is surrounded by all-black appliances and a sprawling centre island with a hob.

Alongside the hob, there's what appears to be a deep fat fryer embedded in the counter and a collection of sleek knives and an espresso machine.

Liam recently spoke about missing his son Bear's third birthday and how "horrible" it had been, but that his ex and mother of his child Cheryl had sen him videos and pictures of the day.

The singer, who co-parents his son with Cheryl, revealed he and the pop star decided it was for the best for him not to leave home to see his son for his big day because of the virus.

The former One Direction star said during an interview from his home on Good Morning Britain: "Yeah, it was a really tough call not to go down for his birthday. I discussed it with Cheryl and we both agreed it was for the best thing.

"I'm down here in the city and I've been exposed to everything and we were slowly finding out information about this thing. It was horrible and I got lots of pictures and videos, I did a little FaceTime.

"That's been the hardest thing, it's the most difficult thing for all of us. It's quite funny – the technology that's been pushing us further apart is pulling us together again."
