Love Island star Kady McDermott has hardly been bored this lockdown.

The 25 year old, who appeared on 2015 hit series, has been busy turning a one storey bungalow into a six-bedroom family home.

Kady moved in with boyfriend Myles Barnett, and the couple is currently bringing their renovation plans to life room by room.

The reality star has showcased the progress with an Instagram page called @ourbungalowproject.

And recently showed off how different the exterior of her home looks so far.

We can see that there has been extra floors added on, the exterior had been painted cream, and there are tinted sliding doors and a dark slate roof.

Kady captioned the transformation image, writing: “Ooooo she had a glow up and a half.

“Counting down the days until the 22nd for the BIG phase 2 – operation driveway and garden! WOO!

“Also our shutters will finally be fitted at the end of the month, these temporary paper ones aren’t cutting it anymore.”

Kady also recently took to Instagram to show off their amazing new living room.

The space has a huge cream L-shaped sofa and a plush grey carpet.

The walls have wooden panelling and stylish modern artwork, and there is a very sculptural lamp which looks beautiful.

Kady captioned this post: “Hey pretty I can’t wait to sink my [bottom] into you”

The star has said she is taking interiors inspiration from Kim Kardashian, who has gone for a seriously minimalist approach.

“I want my house to look like there is nothing in it!” Kady said in a recent Instagram story.

She then shared pictures of Kim’s home from a recent shoot with Vogue, in which the space has so little furniture you could be forgiven for thinking the Kardashian had moved out.

“Less is more for me, I hate over-accessorizing!” the Love Island star said.
