Lauren Goodger says her mum has snubbed her since she announced baby news

Former Towie star Lauren Goodger has claimed her mum has not been in contact with her since she announced she was pregnant – but says she isn't upset about it.

In March the bombshell announced she and her boyfriend Charles Drury, 23, were expecting their first child.

But since then she has been snubbed by her mum Cheryl – who Lauren previously revealed gave her when she was four-years-old, while keeping her siblings.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Lauren, 34, said: "I haven't heard from her or seen her, but she's probably got her own stuff going on.

"It's a shame if she misses out, but I've got so much going on I need to keep positive and focused on my baby.

"It doesn't upset me, but it's a shame she's missed out on the pregnancy."

In 2014 Cheryl told she was suffering from depression when the reality TV star was young.

She said: "[Her insecurities stem from] when she went to live with her dad at four.

"I was very depressed after I had Lauren. I didn't get any help and I sort of rejected Lauren because of that."

In April Lauren told how she had a pregnancy scare when she was rushed to hospital after not feeling her baby move.

She told about the incident in OK! VIP column, adding that it turned out everything was ok with her baby.

The star said: "Sadly, I ended up in hospital last week.

"I didn't feel the baby move and I didn't feel myself, so I was advised to go and have a check-up."

"As you know I've always been honest about how I'm feeling and I will be able to talk about it in more detail next week when I'm fully over this episode."
