LG reveals pricing for its new 4K and 8K TVs – prepare to be shocked

If you fancy treating yourself to a new 4K or 8K from LG then we now know exactly how much the Koran firm’s latest televisions are going to cost. Full pricing has just been revealed and we hope you are sitting down. Taking delivery of the flagship OLED 88ZXwill set you back a wallet-busting £39,000 – yes, you read that right.

For that money, you’ll be treated to one of the best TVs in the business with this goggle box getting an 88-inch 8K display that delivers four times the screen resolution of 4K and 16 times that of Full HD.

LG is also boasting that this TV meets and exceed the industry definition for 8K Ultra HD TVs as defined by the Consumer Technology Association, making them among the first 8K models qualified to use the CTA 8K Ultra HD logo.

Featured in most of LG 2020 OLED and 8K TVs is also the new alpha 9 Gen 3 AI Processor which has advanced deep learning algorithms to further boost picture and sound quality on the new TVs.

Starting prices for the 49-inch 4K NANOCELL televisions begin at £899.99 and you can get an entry-level 8K model for £1,999.

LG says it is rolling out a stellar 2020 TV lineup led by 14 new OLED models, including the art-inspired GX Gallery series, real 8K ZX models, and 4K Ultra HD TVs.

The news of these prices come as LG has just announced the release of the Disney+ app on its TVs.

The Korean technology firm has just revealed the changes, which are now available in U.K., Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, mean that LG customers can access all of the content from Disney straight from their smart TVs.

If you own a compatible set then you can now simply click on the Disney+ icon on LG Home Launcher to start watching.

LG says it has integrated this service into the webOS platform to offer a smooth and seamless experience.
