ONE lucky punter scooped up a sensational £7,000 after placing a quid on a bumper 15-fold accumulator.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes have revealed the bettor placed £1 on the 7,000/1 acca and correctly predicted the results of FIFTEEN international fixtures.
But it wasn't exactly straightforward.
The punter entered the final 10 minutes of Sunday evening's games with a losing bet slip – needing a four-goal swing in his favour.
The first to oblige were Austria, who managed to overturn a 1-0 deficit courtesy of 81' and 87' strikes from Louis Schaub and Adrian Grbic.
In the midsts of that, Iceland equalised against Denmark to shatter any late hope.
But then former Tottenham and Inter Milan star Christian Eriksen stepped up and slotted home a 92nd-minute penalty.
And it was an even later winner from the spot which came in the 94th minute in the Slovenia vs Kosovo match to ensure the £1 stake returned a staggering £7,007.44.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "This might have to go down of one of the best bets of the season with not one but FOUR last-gasp goals going out plucky punter's way to turn some loose into a tidy £7k."
