This is not a drill! Meghan Markle is set to appear on an episode of The Ellen DeGenerous Show that’s airing on Nov. 18. The sit-down interview marks the Duchess of Sussex’s first daytime talk show appearance in about a decade. From the looks of it, she’s blessing us with some candid stories. In a teaser clip shared on Wednesday, Meghan shared a funny and all-too-relatable story about how much her life has changed. She reminisced about going on auditions when she worked as an actress before becoming a royal and dealing with a car that, um, had a life of its own.
“I had this very, very old Ford Explorer Sport, and at a certain point, the key stopped working on the driver’s side, so you couldn’t get yourself in through the door,” she told Ellen. “So after auditions, I would park at the back of the parking lot, and I would open the trunk and climb in and then pull it shut behind me and crawl over all my seats to get out, so that’s how I would come to and fro.” Ah, good times! We cannot wait for the Duchess’s return to daytime TV. For now, watch the sneak peek video above.
