Aldi: Kevin the Carrot features in 2020 Christmas advert

Christmas is just three weeks away which means it is time for many Britons to stock up on mince pies, mulled wine and Brussels sprouts. Shoppers ordering festive favourites from Aldi, Waitrose and Morrisons could save if they shop with Deliveroo.

Many supermarkets have already released delivery slots to get essential food for the holiday season.

Those hoping to get Christmas food delivered can pick from a range of available dates and times in run up to December 25th.

Deliveroo is offering shoppers the chance to save on festive groceries.

As well as offering takeaways, Deliveroo is partnered with supermarket chains including Aldi, Waitrose, Morrisons and Co-op.

Shoppers can also order groceries through the app from BP, Shell and McColl’s.

Deliveroo has launched a festive offer to give customers the chance to save up to 50 percent when buying from the retailers.

How does it work?

Customers will be given £10 off when they spend at least £20 on groceries on Deliveroo.

They can pick from festive essentials including cheese boards, Christmas puddings and festive chocolates.

The discount will be applied when the order is placed with the retailer.

Customers do not need to book a time slot to get groceries delivered to their doors.

In fact, orders placed with Deliveroo can arrive in as little as 20 minutes.

However, those hoping to snap up the bargains will need to act fast.

The deal is only available on order placed before 11.59pm on Monday, December 7.

Many supermarket chains have already released slots of the Christmas period.

Tesco’s Festive Food to Order slots went live in November and led to long online queues.

Slots are available to book between December 20 and December 24.

Asda will be delivering Christmas groceries between December 21 and 23.

Times are available to book now with delivery costing £3 on orders less than £40.

Sainsbury’s staggered the release of delivery dates, with all slots now available to book.
