Patsy Palmer ‘loves’ grey hair and ‘old wrinkled neck’ as she appreciates life

Patsy Palmer has shared a new snap with her Instagram followers, admitting that she is embracing her life as her skin and hair change.

The former EastEnders actress took to social media on Monday to share a selfie while highlighting the differences in her face from the start of her career.

Patsy, 48, revealed that she is loving her new "grey" hair and how her neck is becoming "old and wrinkled" as she expressed how she thanked God.

Famed for her ginger locks, Patsy, who played the role of Bianca Butcher on the hit BBC One soap, posed for a selfie in the front of a car.

The star, who now lives in Malibu, California, with her family, wore her famous red locks in loose natural waves as they rested on her shoulder.

She wore a blue denim style shirt while rocking a pair of gold and brown aviator Ray-Ban sunglasses, shielding her eyes from the scorching California sun.

Captioning her Instagram post, Patsy penned: "My hair is going grey!!! I love the way it's going. My neck is getting old and wrinkled. Just love the appreciation I have for life and how far I've come. Thanks to God for the grace and love."

The mum-of-four was instantly inundated with compliments from a number of her followers.

One penned: "Beautiful inside and out."

While a second added: "Growing old is a privilege denied to many. How empowering to see you looking utterly stunning, embracing the circle of life."

"So refreshing seeing someone embrace ageing rather than trying to stop it," commented a third.

"Growing old beautifully and gracefully," gushed a fourth.

Patsy took on the role of loud-mouth Bianca Jackson in 1993 before departing just six years later.

She later returned in 2008 alongside on-screen husband Ricky, but again left Walford in 2014.

Since then, she has appeared on the soap just once, in 2019.

Patsy also competed in The Masked Singer as The Butterfly but was eliminated in week one.
