Holly was 16 when she landed the role of Flick Scully on the Australian daytime soap Neighbours in 1999.

In 2002, she branched off from acting to launch herself as a popstar and enjoyed international success with her music.

However, her second album State of Mind failed to reach the UK Top 50 and only peaked at number 14 in Australia leading Holly to resign from music saying it "wasn’t fun anymore".

She was then ordered to pay £150,000 to her former manager who claimed she'd broken their contract when she left the music business.

Holly told the Sunday People: "The case also cost millions of dollars in lawyers' fees. I was not all that wealthy, either.

"I had to think of it as a new beginning. I thought, 'It is just a number in a bank account – now you see it now you don't'."

Holly decided her ‘new beginning’ would be a move back into acting and she jetted to LA, and it wasn’t long before she was landing TV roles in shows such as Prison Break and CSI Miami.

She explained: "When I talked about moving to Hollywood, Mum said, 'Yes, go for it'. So I got on a plane to LA. I hired a car, looked at a map and drove myself to a place I'd rented.

"I thought, 'Get to know your way around.' I decided to accept every invitation for functions, dinners and balls and threw myself in the deep end."

In 2009, she met British billionaire property tycoon Nick Candy at a mutual friend’s dinner party.

"I didn’t know anything about him. I just thought 'Cor, if I didn’t fancy you so much, we’d be the best of friends. Instead, I want to make out with you all the time,'" she told the Daily Mail.

Holly described the first time she saw his £50 million superyacht as a “mansion on water”.

"When I saw the boat for the first time, I was stunned and said: 'Oh dear God! It’s a mansion on the water. It’s incredible'," she’s said previously.

Holly made the move to London to live with Nicky, and it was shortly after her stint on Strictly Come Dancing that Nick proposed to her on holiday in the Maldives.

The couple tied the knot in Beverly Hills in 2012, and the ceremony cost a reported £3 million.

Katy Perry was reportedly paid £1.2 million to perform at the nuptials, and Simon Cowell was also in attendance.

Their daughter Luka was born in 2012 followed by her sister Nova in 2017.

In 2018, the couple were seen rubbing shoulders with royals when they scored an invite to Princess Eugenie’s wedding.

The family now live in London, where Holly has taken a break from the limelight to focus on motherhood.
