JLS’ Aston Merrygold Shares Glimpse of Newborn Baby

The JLS boybander is over the moon to announce on social media he has welcomed a bouncing baby boy named Macaulay Shay with his fiancee Sarah Lou Richards.

AceShowbizJLS star Aston Merrygold is a dad of two after welcoming a baby boy with fiancee Sarah Lou Richards.

The “Beat Again” hitmaker, 32, took to Instagram to announce that the couple had welcomed a son, called Macaulay Shay, on Friday, June 5, 2020.

Alongside a black-and-white picture of the newborn holding onto his and Sarah’s fingers, he wrote, “Welcome to the world baby boy… Macaulay Shay Merrygold 12:52pm 5/6/2020.”

Sarah also shared the same post.

The British singer’s happy news sparked a string of congratulatory posts from stars including his JLS bandmates, and pal Marvin Humes‘ pregnant wife Rochelle, who wrote, “Angel boy,” followed by a blue heart emoji.

Aston announced he was to be a dad again in an Instagram video in January, showing the couple dancing to Pharrell Williams‘ hit “Happy”.

Towards the end of the routine, their son Grayson, two, appeared on camera wearing a sweater with the words, “I’m going to be a super big brother,” as Aston held up a sonogram photo of their unborn child.

“So we’ve got something to tell you, and the only way to do it is… 3 just became 4,” he captioned the post. “(I really am the luckiest man alive!!!!!!!!) love from the Merrygold family.”

The longtime couple became engaged during the Christmas holidays in 2017.

Robert Pattinson Gave Fans a Peek at His Skincare Routine in Quarantine

In 34 years, Robert Pattinson has racked up starring roles in three blockbuster movie franchises. He played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and of course, he was the male lead opposite Kristen Stewart in the Twilight series.

Now, Pattinson is going to be in a Batman movie. Like everything else, filming for The Batman was shut down thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

The release has been pushed back from Summer 2021 to October of next year. Not everything has stopped in its tracks, however. The pandemic didn’t stop Pattinson from interviewing for a GQ cover remotely.

Since he couldn’t get a photographer in to shoot the cover, he had to take his own pictures for the article. The pandemic is forcing a lot of people to show their true colors, including celebrities. Pattinson is no exception.

Robert Pattinson does not exercise

RELATED: Robert Pattinson Had an Absolutely Deranged Pasta Recipe, So Naturally People Had to Make It

Obviously, there is an expectation that Batman will be in good shape. Pattinson isn’t known for having a sculpted body. It wasn’t necessary when he was playing the sunlight-starved vampire in Twilight. According to Pattinson, “the one time they told me to take my shirt off, I think they told me to put it back on again.”

The Batman crew got Pattinson a trainer to try to buff him up a little. Now that everyone is self-isolating, he can’t see the trainer in person. She left some equipment for Pattinson to use, but he’s not into it. He doesn’t think other actors should be going nuts with training routines either.

When actors work out all the time, they put pressure on other actors, and on regular people. Most average Joes can’t afford to spend all of their time working out, so it’s an impossible standard to meet.

The practice has become normalized, but according to Pattinson, maybe it shouldn’t be. He says: “No one was doing this in the ’70s. Even James Dean—he wasn’t exactly ripped.”

Robert Pattinson is serious about skincare

Even though Pattinson isn’t into exercising, he does take care of himself. Especially his skin. He believes in self-care, and although his flawless skin made him perfect for the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight, he landed that role at 21.

At 34, Pattinson is the first to admit that his skin needs a little more TLC than it did when he was younger. Now, he uses face masks.

For Pattinson, the masks are about more than just great skin. It’s also a form of self-care. It turns out, masks aren’t the only thing that Pattinson uses in his skincare routine. He revealed some of his other go-to products in a surprising way.

Robert Pattinson revealed the inside of his medicine cabinet

In the photos he took for GQ, Pattinson revealed the inside of his medicine cabinet. It was in the background of one of his self-portraits, and there were quite a few skincare staples inside.

The pictures themselves are gorgeous, especially considering Pattinson is not a professional photographer. He perfectly imitated GQ’s classic style, while adding his own eclectic twist. They also give fans an idea of how Pattinson sees himself. Although he’s got leading man looks, he fashioned himself as somewhat rough around the edges for the shoot.

Which is where the medicine cabinet comes in. Pattinson’s face is reflected on the inside of his medicine cabinet. Things are not picture perfect in there either, which may have been an artistic element added by Pattinson. There are 11 products pictured, and the majority are for the skin.

There are masks, of course, specifically the iS Clinical Hydra-Intensive Cooling Mask. There were four other face products, Curel Intensive Moisture Facial Cream, Curel Moisture Facial Lotion, Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes, Simple Kind to Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturizer.

Pattinson’s hair game is always on point, and it could be thanks to the TIGI Heat Protection Spray and Paul Mitchell Maverick Dry Paste he keeps in his cabinets. His other products included Westlab Relaxing Magnesium Flakes, a bottle of Nurofen (an over the counter anti-inflammatory), Colgate Toothpaste, and a Milk Holographic Stick.

As two of the biggest pop stars in the world, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift are often compared. Much about them is different, from the way that they sing to their public personas. But both are very well-off financially. Discover who has a higher net worth here.

Taylor Swift began her music career in 2006

Though primarily known for her music, Swift is also an actor. She has had small roles in the films Valentine’s DayThe Giver, and the 2019 musical Cats. Additionally, she has guest-starred in two TV series: CSI and New Girl.

ten years of victorious 🤍 daniella’s post got me all in my feels now so i’m sorry for the mushiness but…. jus want to say how grateful i will always be for being on this show and for those years of my life. i couldn’t have spent my teenage years with a better, more funny, talented group of human beings. i really loved playing cat valentine (even though sometimes people think i actually still speak and act like that and her essence will lovingly haunt me til i die) …. i miss getting in trouble w my friends the school room and trying not to laugh when we weren’t supposed to on set. i even miss waking up with red hair dye stained pillows. thank u @danwarp and to my cast mates for some of the most special years of my life and for bringing all of us into each other’s lives. happy anniversary!

Grande is a few years younger than Swift. She began her career with the Broadway musical 13 in 2008. Grande then gained notoriety as Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon series Victorious and its spinoff Sam & Cat. She released her first studio album, Yours Truly, in 2013. And by the shows had ended, she was blowing up as a pop star.

Like Swift, Grande’s focus is typically on her music. She’s put out four more albums: My EverythingDangerous WomanSweetener, and Thank U, Next. However, she hasn’t completely abandoned acting. Grande had a recurring role in the series Scream Queens and guest-starred in an episode of Showtime’s Kidding.

Swift is fighting with Grande’s manager

Swift’s second pop album, Reputation, was released in 2017. It was her final album with Big Machine Records. She signed with Republic Records in 2018. Then, in 2019, it was announced that music manager Scooter Braun had purchased Big Machine, including the rights to all of Swift’s master recordings.

The feud between Swift and Braun has rocked the music industry. But Grande has never spoken about it publicly. However, as one of Braun’s clients, many believe they already known which side she is on.

Here’s how much they are each worth

RELATED: What Is Ariana Grande’s Net Worth?

Though Swift isn’t earning much (or, possibly, anything) from her old music, she is still very well off. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she is thought to be worth around $400 million following her latest album, Lover. Just two years ago, her net worth was around $320 million.

Meanwhile, Grande is estimated to be worth around $100 million. According to Forbes, her 2019 Sweetener Tour brought in $146 million. So while she currently has a lower net worth than Swift, Grande’s earnings are on an upswing. In fact, she is the highest-paid female musician on the Forbes list, having earned $72 million in 2020 as of June 4.

Haseef is bred to relish this trip at two and is another to watch.

TRUESHAN showed big improvement for Alan King last season, including when winning the Old Rowley Cup over course and distance in October. He deserves to step into this Listed company and has more to come.

First In Line was second to the tip at HQ before stepping up in trip to score on the all-weather. John Gosden can conjure more from him this summer.

Communique is the class act in the field after landing the Group 2 Tattersalls Stakes on the July course. He finished the season with a couple of flat efforts in Germany but has his sights lowered today.

Ghostwatch missed last season but was really promising before that and is worth watching.

Faylaq didn’t like the mud in a hot contest at Ascot last time in October and will be happier here.

2.25

DAVYDENKO won after eight months off at the start of last season and moved nicely through the ranks with good handicap wins on the July course here and Doncaster. He scored as he liked on Town Moor and a 7lb rise in the weights won’t stop him over his best trip.

West End Charmer is another coming from a convincing success at Donny a year ago. All his best efforts have come over this distance and he’s got much more to come.

Good Birthday was a solid third in the Cambridgeshire here in September when flying home. That suggests this extra furlong will be ideal and he’s off the same mark for in-form Andrew Balding.

Desert Icon is consistent and finished the campaign with back-to-back seconds. He stays well and should improve as a four-year-old for William Haggas.

Sky Defender needs to translate his all-weather form to the green stuff.

3.00

SNOW SHOWER was impressive when winning on debut at Salisbury over 7f. She tanked along out wide before finishing strongly. This longer trip will be ideal.

Tiempo Vuela looks the pick of the John Gosden team. She won in first gear on debut at Newcastle and is another bred for this distance.

Run Wild has the champ on board and has already gone close at Group level. She’s got more miles on the clock than the others though.

Trefoil impressed when winning on debut here in October and she’ll love the trip.

Alpen Rose won well at Donny before getting stuck in the mud in Listed company in November.

3.35

MILLISLE can strike for Jessica Harrington and Oisin Murphy. She has already struck at Group 1 level when taking the Cheveley Park Stakes here in September. That was over 6f but her top-class connections are sure she’ll get home at the mile.

Quadrilateral has been favourite for a while and with good reason after she took the Fillies’ Mile over course and distance in October. That was just her third run and she is guaranteed to get home.

Cloak Of Spirits looks a potential big improver for Richard Hannon. She ran on over 7f when third in the Rockfel here and will improve for this distance.

Love is respected from Aidan O’Brien. She landed the Group 1 Moyglare at the Curragh before chasing home Quadrilateral. That gives her some improving to do.

Raffle Prize was busy at two but did well to win the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and a Group 2 here before chasing home Millisle. If she stays, she’ll be right there.

Summer Romance looks the type to improve over a mile and did win a Listed race here in June. She could nick a place at hefty odds.

4.10

EBURY improved through last season and finished with a game win over course and distance in November. He’s up a fair 3lb for that and still has few miles on the clock for a four-year-old.

Ouzo looks potentially ahead of the handicapper and he was in winning form on the July course this time last year. This trip is ideal and he is the big danger.

4.45

KING LEONIDAS caught the eye when running right away from his rivals to win a decent maiden her in October. That was over 7f and he’ll improve for the mile and that experience.

Eastern World was very green in finishing second at Kempton on debut in December. He can take a big step forward from that.

Bullfinch got off the mark at Chelmsford and is another nice miler in the making.

5.20

SPECTRUM OF LIGHT put in a promising effort when beaten less than a length at Newcastle on debut in December. He improved as the race went on and has a lot more to offer.

Sunray Major is bred to be classy and is another nice newcomer for John Gosden and Frankie Dettori. He should be right there.

5.55

VINDICATE will have learned plenty from his win at Chelmsford over a mile in August. He looks the type to really improve for this step up in distance and he goes handicapping from what looks a fair mark.

Bronze River is another who won at the Essex track latest and has more to come now he’s tackling middle distances.

Charlie Appleby has two big chances in Native Tribe and Al Maysan who both won well last time out.

6.30

MOTAGALLY can land a hat-trick after good victories at Brighton and last time out at Wolverhampton. The form of that all-weather contest in October has worked out well and there’s more to come from Charles Hills’ four-year-old.

Mountain Peak signed off last term with a close second at Bath and looks a fair price to hit the frame.

Daschas likes this course and distance and had a bit in hand when scoring at Yarmouth latest.

HAYDOCK

2.05

FANNY LOGAN should find this a lot easier than her last run in the Breeders’ Cup across the pond at Santa Anita. It was a massive effort to finish just over a length off the winner and gaining all the time. She landed four on the spin before that including in this class and stepping up in distance looks a wise move.

Manuela De Vega went close in a Germany Group 1 in November when relishing this distance. She could do with a bit of rain but has plenty of quality.

Andrew Balding has started the season like a train and his Shailene can’t be ruled out. She’s a Listed winner at best but we know she’ll be fit and this trip is her best.

Sir Michael Stoute is another in-form trainer and Vivionn stepped out of handicap company for a close second in a York Listed race last time. His horses improve with age and she has more to offer.

Bella Vita was fifth in that Knavesmire contest and has plenty to find, as does handicapper Lady Of Shalott.

2.40

ELARQAM can get the better of Sangarius in what looks a cracking race for Group 3 level. He won at a higher level at York last season and was just a length away in the red-hot International Stakes back on the Knavesmire. The Irish Champion Stakes was a bridge too far but that came at the end of a busy season and he can get back to winning ways over his favourite trip.

Sangarius was pulled out of a Listed contest at Newmarket on Friday over a mile. He was last seen winning the Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot over this trip so that could prove to be a wise move. Whatever happens today he’s one to watch this season.

Lord North won the Cambridgeshire before going close in a big Ascot handicap and signing off with a Listed win over course and distance. He is respected coming from in-form John Gosden.

Bangkok can’t be dismissed despite his odds-on defeat in the Winter Derby at Lingfield in February.

3.15

SPACE BLUES went close twice at Group 1 level in France last summer including over this distance. He was too bad to be true in Dubai latest when coming back to 6f may not have suited. He was a game winner at Epsom the last time he dropped into this Listed class.

Safe Voyage is another who held his own at the highest level last term with an excellent second in the QEII Stakes at Ascot in October. That was over a mile but he won this race 12 months ago and will make another bold bid.

Happy Power is another who usually goes over further but is proven in this grade and has solid place claims.

Yafta has had training problems over the past couple of seasons but is a proven group performer who could have a say down in class.

Stablemate Urban Icon has the benefit of a Listed win at Wolverhampton in March and could make his relative fitness pay.

D’Bai landed a good Dubai victory over this distance in January and wasn’t beaten far in Australia last time out in November.

Andy Gill’s Wife Says Late Husband Got Sick After Returning From China in Late 2019

The widow of the Gang of Four ringleader claims her husband might have contracted coronavirus after returning from his tour in China with his bandmates last year.

AceShowbiz -The widow of Gang of Four leader Andy Gill has spoken out on her late husband’s death, insisting Covid-19 played a part in his demise.

The guitarist passed away in February 2020 following a short illness, with his official cause of death listed as “(a) multi-organ failure, (b) pneumonia” on his death certificate.

However, Catherine Mayer revealed in a blog post that the hitmaker began to suffer Covid-19 symptoms at the end of 2019 after returning from China with his bandmates in late November – months before Chinese officials revealed the virus was spreading.

She went on to explain that, after news of the virus spread, Andy’s doctors asked if he had visited Wuhan – the epicentre of the disease – during the tour, but Andy thought it was unlikely he had picked up the bug as “Gang of Four’s tour had taken the band only to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.”

After Catherine pressed one of Andy’s specialists, however, the medical professional admitted that it had crossed his mind that Covid-19 could have been the reason for Andy’s death, and she shared the reply she received from the St Thomas doctor in her post.

“It seemed to me at the time of Andy’s illness that we had not fully understood why he deteriorated as he did,” it read. “Once we learned more about Covid-19, I thought there was a real possibility that Andy had been infected by SARS-COV-2.”

“I discussed this with colleagues in early March – I thought we should explore this further once we had the tools to answer the question such as reliable antibody tests. I did not want to contact you until and if I had a definite answer.”

Catherine added that the doctor is not sure if he is able to now locate any of Andy’s lab samples, but “asked me to collate any information that might hint at a coronavirus cluster or trail around Andy and the band.”

Implying she believes her husband died of coronavirus, she concluded, “We may never find out whether Covid-19 killed Andy, yet I will always know, in indelible detail, how he died.”

Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha Berlin LIVE: Score, stream FREE, TV channel as BVB struggle to open scoring – latest updates – The Sun

BORUSSIA DORTMUND return to Bundesliga action as they look to keep tabs with pace-setters Bayern Munich.

After a thumping 6-1 win over bottom club Paderborn last week, BVB return to home soil and face in-form Hertha Berlin as they look to keep their title dream alive.

  • Live score: Dortmund 0 Hertha 0
  • TV/Live stream free: BT Sport 1/BT Sport app, EE customers watch free
  • Dortmund XI: Burki, Hakimi, Delaney, Sancho, Guerreiro, Akanji, Brandt, Hazard, Piszczek, Can, Witsel.
  • Hertha XI: Jarstein, Pekarik, Skjelbred, Darida, Grujic, Dilrosun, Mittelstadt, Ibisevic, Boyata, Torunarigha, Lukebakio

Follow all the latest updates from Germany below…

  • HALF TIME: BVB 0 HERTHA 0

The referee's whistle brings an end to a… placid first half at Signal iduna Park.

It's not been a bad half per se, but both sides could do with some added mph in the second half.

Lucien Favre will have to gee up his men for a better second 45.

We are level at the break!

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

38' Free-kick in a decent position for BVB, wide and to the right of the goal they are attacking.

Guerreiro has a chance to deliver an in-swinging, left-footed cross.

But instead, he peculiarly elects to thwack it over the bar.

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

    37' Nearly a chance!

Great work from Hakimi who gets in behind and pulls an expert cut-back across the edge of the box.

It falls to Witsel, but his effort on goal is well blocked.

Hertha look to break, but good tracking back from Sancho nips their counter in the bud.

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

32' Delaney is down hurt, but Grujic carries on.

    He drives forward…

    And further forward…

    Further forward still…

He's about to finally pull the trigger…

    But is then dispossessed.

    As you were.

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

29' No sooner have I said that, have Hertha in fact had a foray forward.

A long straight ball finds the lively Lukebakio, who can't quite get any purchase on his airborne effort.

It sails serenely into Roman Burki's grateful clutches, but it's something to hold onto for the men from the capital.

Meanwhile, Dilrosun is replaced by Esswein in the game's first change.

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

26' Borussia Dortmund really are dominant now, with Hertha's forays forward become rarer and rarer.

A lot of BVB's possession is now beginning to occur further into their opponent's territory.

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

    21'

    A chance!

A cross from the left seems to go through bodies as it finds its way to Thorgan Hazard at the back post.

The Belgian, perhaps starved of touches so far, seems almost startled to have the ball, even more so in the penalty area, and wildly blazes the ball wide of the post.

Moments later, Brandt wants to have a go, and lashes one over the bar.

    It's a start!

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

20' Sancho has now opened his box of tricks, illustrating his breadth of skills to anybody that still hasn't seen them – perhaps people living under a rock.

His wizardry is opening spaces for his side but there's still a dearth of cutting edge, Sancho aside.

Julian Brandt and Thorgan Hazard extremely quiet so far.

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

16' Borussia are dominating possession now and starting to get Sancho into the match.

The Englishman's buzzings around the box are beginning to cause problems, twice now putting Raphael Guerreiro in behind.

One of these such ventures won BVB the match's first corner.

But it evades everyone and it's as you were.

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

12' Lukebakio has shown some sumptuous early touches and signs of inventiveness.

His Hertha team-mates, however, have not quite been on the same wavelength.

The young Belgian certainly looks a threat though and one to watch.

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

8' Predictably BVB are now getting more early touches of the ball, but both sides appear allergic to goalmouth action so far.

But what's this!? Achraf Hakimi suddenly finds himself played in behind.

He gets a shot off as he's closed down… but it's harmlessly into the side netting.

    It's a start though!

  • BVB 0 HERTHA 0

4' Decent early spell of possession from Hertha.

But in terms of action, it's as quiet on the pitch as off it in the early stages.

But Labbadia will be pleased with the confidence in which his side are passing the ball

  • KICK-OFF!

We are underway at Signal Iduna Park!

Can BVB strengthen their grip on second place?

Or will Hertha continue their unlikely chase for European football?

    It's time to find out!

  • TAKING A KNEE

Before we get underway, all 22 players have taken a knee around the centre circle to show their support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

A stance that we can hope that the Premier League will also take in a fortnight's time.

  • TEAMS IN THE TUNNEL

The players are ambling out of their respective dressing rooms and into the tunnel at the cavernous Signal Iduna Park.

    Kick-off coming up shortly!

  • BLACK LIVES MATTER

Borussia Dortmund are wearing t-shirts in the warm-up today, showing solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement fighting against social injustice.

Jadon Sancho and Achraf Hakimi showed messages of support last week after the dreadful killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

And now the Bundesliga are hoping to do their bit to further support the cause.

  • NO HAALAND, NO PROBLEM?

Such has been Erling Haaland's extraordinary start to life in Westphalia, that the teen is already a key figure for Lucien Favre's side.

But having suffered an injury against Bayern Munich, Favre was forced to do without him last weekend against Paderborn.

While the underdog hosts made things difficult initially, a Jadon Sancho hat-trick set BVB on their way to a 6-1 romp over their lowly opponents.

With Haaland again missing today, Borussia will have to rely on the fluid front three of Sancho, Julian Brandt and Thorgan Hazard – and will be hoping that the lack of focal point won't hurt their chances of victory.

  • SATURDAY STATE OF PLAY

Ahead of today's final Bundesliga match, here's all the results from earlier today in Germany.

    RB Leipzig 1-1 Paderborn

    Bayer Leverkusen 2-4 Bayern Munich

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-2 Mainz

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 2-2 Hoffenheim

  • HERTH OF GOLD

Despite investing many millions in their squad, Hertha Berlin were a laughing stock prior to the league's break – after the comically brief tenure of Jurgen Klinsmann.

But new boss Bruno Labbadia has galvanised the place – quickly turning them from relegation worriers to potential Europa League chasers.

The capital side are unbeaten in their four matches back – scoring nine without return against Hoffenheim, Augsburg and local rivals Union – also drawing 2-2 with high-flyers RB Leipzig.

  • RACE FOR TOP FOUR

Having lost to Bayern last week, BVB now find themselves peering over their shoulders and willbe hoping to at least secure a Champions League place, with their title aspirations in tatters.

Jadon Sancho marked his return to the starting XI with a hat-trick last weekend against Paderborn as they romped to a 6-1 victory to bounce back from their Bayern disappointment.

Bayern's victory over Leverkusen this afternoon has had implications in both directions for Lucien Favre's men.

While they are now ten points behind Hansi Flick's leaders – Leverkusen's loss kept them four points behind second-placed Borussia.

  • GUNMAN IN RESERVE

January signing Krzysztof Piątek is once again on the Hertha bench, with the experienced Vedad Ibisevic preferred by coach Bruno Labbadia.

Will we get to see this celebration later on if the Pole is called upon?

He's scored three Bundesliga goals so far since his move from Milan.

  • HERTHA STARTING XI

And here is how visitors Hertha will line up!

Jarstein, Pekarik, Skjelbred, Darida, Grujic, Dilrosun, Mittelstadt, Ibisevic, Boyata, Torunarigha, Lukebakio

  • TEAM NEWS!

Here's how BVB will line up this evening, with Erling Haaland missing out through injury.

Borussia Dortmund: Burki, Piszczek, Akanji, Can, Hakimi, Delaney, Witsel, Guerreiro, Hazard, Brandt, Sancho

  • MATCH ODDS

Despite Hertha's good recent form, it's Dortmund who are the big odds-on favourites to take the three points with Ladbrokes…

    • Dortmund to win – 1/3
    • Draw – 9/2
    • Hertha to win – 7/1
    • Both teams to score – 8/13
    • Over 2.5 goals – 4/1

    CAPITAL GAINS

It's crunch time for Dortmund as they welcome Hertha Berlin today, knowing anything less than three points all but ends their title dream.

After Bayern Munich's comeback victory against Leverkusen, Hansi Flick's side appear destined for an eighth consecutive crown and are ten points clear of BVB at the summit.

What can Dortmund do to stop them? Well, keep winning and hope the Munich machine somehow suffers an unlikely malfunction. It's out of their hands.

Last week's win over Paderborn was more like the swashbuckling BVB we saw before the coronavirus suspension, with Jadon Sancho netting a stylish hat-trick to steal the headlines in a 6-1 thrashing.

Results elsewhere leave Dortmund back in third place, but three points will see them leapfrog RB Leipzig and at least give the leaders something to thing about.

Less impressive was their labouring first half performance against Paderborn and today's visitors Hertha Berlin will take heart from that.

Since returning from the coronavirus break, Hertha have been in magnificent form.

They're unbeaten and have conceded just twice in four matches, going on an end-of-season run which could see them sneak into the Europa League places.

Team news is imminent from Dortmund, where Erling Haaland is expected to start despite a troublesome knee injury.

We'll bring you that news as soon as we've got it, but settle info for another packed evening of top-flight German entertainment.

‘The Help’ Stars Viola Davis & Octavia Spencer Protest As Problematic Film Surges In Views

Viola Davis posted pics of her and ‘The Help’ co-star Octavia Spencer protesting in the wake of George Floyd’s death as views and criticism rises for their 2011 film about black maids serving white families.

Viola Davis, 54, took to social media to share some pics of her experience protesting with Octavia Spencer, 48, Yvette Nicole Brown, 48, and more at a protest to stop racial injustice in the wake of George Floyd‘s tragic death. The actress included a lengthy caption with her photos that described the passion she feels for standing up for black Americans as her and Octavia’s 2011 film The Help, in which they play black women serving white families, surges in views and gains criticism.

The above was my elixir. My rage and pain, like many Black Americans is rooted in the depth of my soul. Too many years of being asked to numb it, has caused it to implode. But standing with these beautiful souls in protest and the reception of love and being seen was like a vaccine. We will no longer be silent when we are being erased. We will no longer work overtime to make you comfortable in the midst of microagressions and hate. We will no longer justify or excuse you for murdering us, suppressing us. We want what you want. We will no longer put up with you reducing our hopes and dreams. We will NOT excuse our failures because it is our right to fail and get back up. What we will do, what we've always done is give and receive love when we are shown it. We will sit at the table beside you. But this time…from now on….we will no longer beg for a seat. Because….by God, we deserve to be there. 🙏🏿🙏🏿❤❤

A post shared by VIOLA DAVIS (@violadavis) on

“My rage and pain, like many Black Americans is rooted in the depth of my soul,” Viola wrote in the caption for the pics, which shows her and the rest of the ladies holding up signs with powerful messages like, “LISTEN, LEARN, LOVE” and “KNOW JUSTICE, KNOW PEACE BLM.” “Too many years of being asked to numb it, has caused it to implode. But standing with these beautiful souls in protest and the reception of love and being seen was like a vaccine.”

“We will no longer be silent when we are being erased,” the caption continued. “We will no longer work overtime to make you comfortable in the midst of microagressions and hate. We will no longer justify or excuse you for murdering us, suppressing us.”

Viola went on to talk about how she and other black Americans will give and receive love when they “are shown it” and will “sit at the table beside you” but will no longer “beg for a seat” in her caption.

Viola’s powerful message comes at the same time the exposure of George Floyd’s death and the many protests that have been taking to the streets caused her and Octavia’s film The Help to reach the number one streaming spot on Netflix. Despite the popularity of the film, which is based on Kathryn Stockett’s 2009 novel of the same name, there’s been much controversy surrounding its premise, and Viola, herself, who played a maid along with Octavia, even admitted to regretting playing the role even though it helped her snag an Oscar nomination.

“I just felt that at the end of the day that it wasn’t the voices of the maids that were heard,” she told The New York Times in 2018. “I know Aibileen. I know Minny. They’re my grandma. They’re my mom. And I know that if you do a movie where the whole premise is, I want to know what it feels like to work for white people and to bring up children in 1963, I want to hear how you really feel about it. I never heard that in the course of the movie.”

Twitter users took to the social media site to tweet about how people should stop streaming The Help and some even tweeted Netflix directly after they shared a message in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. “Be a soldier and delete The Help from Netflix,” podcast host Ira Madison III wrote while writer Ashly Perez tweeted, “DO NOT WATCH THE F*CKIN HELP RIGHT NOW. WATCH 13TH, SELMA, WHEN THEY SEE US. LITERALLY ANYTHING BUT THE HELP.”

“So The Help is now Netflix most watched movie. One question: WHO is out here watching ‘The Help’ to understand racism and discrimination? That movie isn’t going to teach you anything about the injustice faced by black people. Go watch 13th or When they see us,” another user tweeted.

Britain’s Got Talent 2020: Why isn’t Britain’s Got Talent on tonight?

We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights.

The audition stages of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 wrapped up last weekend (Saturday, May 30) on ITV. So, why isn’t Britain’s Got Talent on tonight as originally planned? Express.co.uk has everything you need to know.

Why isn’t Britain’s Got Talent?

For the first time in 14 years, Britain’s Got Talent live final will not go ahead as planned.

Usually, after eight weeks of audition stages, the Britain’s Got Talent live semi-finals are head in front of a live studio audience.

The finalists perform live on stage and the audience at home vote for the act they want to see in the final, which is held at the end of six live semi-final shows.

The act that received the highest amount of votes from the public is sent straight through to Sunday’s live final.

The judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon – will then have to decide between the next two acts who received the highest number of votes, sending only one through to the final.

Britain’s Got Talent fans would have noticed that the live semi-finals did not go ahead this week and as a result, there is no semi-final tonight (Saturday, June 6) or final tomorrow (Sunday, June 7).

The reason Britain’s Got Talent is not on this week is because the live shows were postponed as a result of the current coronavirus pandemic.

ITV announced in April that the live show’s had been postponed in a statement which read: “We have been working with the brilliant production teams at Thames and Syco to find a way of making the live finals work, which were due to be broadcast at the end of May.

“However, in light of the latest government health guidelines and in line with our priority of safeguarding the well-being of everyone involved in our programmes, production of the live shows cannot go ahead as planned.”

When will Britain’s Got Talent 2020 return?

Unfortunately, a return date for Britain’s Got Talent 2020 has not been confirmed by ITV.

However, there is some good news for fans of the long-running talent series.

Judge Amanda Holden revealed that the judges had been given a provisional return date of Autumn 2020.

Speaking to HuffPost UK, Amanda said: “ “All of the judges have been given a date to hold in early autumn to see if it works live.

“We would never do it without an audience because we’ve always said the British public is the fifth judge. It would be no fun without them!”

“We’ll see what happens, but we are planning to do it this year.”

She added: “Simon has fought very hard for it to be on now, in its normal slot, and it celebrates Britain at its best.

“All our eccentricities, our nuttiness, and being able to laugh at ourselves is how we get through everything – we’ve got to still find the light in the dark.”

Who is through to Britain’s Got Talent 2020 live shows?

The full line up of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 finalists have not been revealed by ITV.

Only the five golden buzzer acts have been confirmed for the live shows.
