Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson could well be on your screens again soon.

Fans have picked up on hints that she may be joining the show that created Little Mix, but this time as a judge.

She may have left the girl band six months ago but there is no stopping Jesy now.

A fan first noticed a strange update to The X Factor Wikipedia page which listed Jesy as a judge for the show’s 16th series, expected to air in Autumn of 2022.

The site also listed Simon Cowell, and fellow former girl-banders and judges Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl.

In March, a source said: “It’s a no-brainer for Simon to have someone as successful as Jesy, who the show made, back on the panel.

“She knows the ups and downs of the music industry inside out, and what it takes to be a successful pop star.

“Her name has been banded around by Simon and his team as someone who could breathe a bit of new life into the show when it’s back next year.”

Jesy, 29, has been busy recording new music ever since she left the band last year and has not yet confirmed the rumour.

As Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, the change may just be an overexcited fan – and probably is.

In March of this year however, Simon Cowell did make it known that Jesy would be top of the list for the judging panel when the show made its long-anticipated return.

The group were first formed in 2011 on The X Factor and went on to become the first group to win the show, under the guidance of mentor and former N-Dubz member, Tulisa Contostavlos.

Jesy quit Little Mix nine years later in December 2020 after the “pressures of being in a girlband” became too much and her mental health was struggling.

Her former bandmates, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards are both pregnant and collected their 2021 BRIT Award for Best Group showing off their growing bumps.

Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade Thirlwall have continued as a trio and will embark on their first tour without Jesy next year.

But if the rumours turn out to be true, Jesy will have a very busy 2022 as it is.
