Love Island star Dani Dyer is following in her dad’s footsteps as the first-look pictures of her EastEnders cameo have been revealed.
Starring alongside her real-life father Danny Dyer, it looks like Dani’s character will be at the heart of some drama on the BBC soap.
Danny plays Mick Carter, and their scenes together will be shown next week.
Dani plays the part of Jeanette, a pregnant cab driver. She picks up Mick who is rushing to hospital for his wife Linda’s baby scan.
It’s a good job they’re heading there, as Jeanette goes into labour in front of Mick, much to his surprise.
He has to take the wheel when her waters break, and he rushes to get her to the hospital in time.
First-look pictures have been released, showing the moment when the pair meet before everything changes.
In one picture Mick can be seen reassuring Jeanette in a hospital corridor.
It doesn’t look like Danny and Dani had to social distance for the scenes.
The pair will be on screen next week, with their episode set to air on Monday June 14.
The role should be a breeze for Dani, after she welcomed her first child in January this year.
She gave birth to a baby boy named Santiago, who she share with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence. Santiago turns five months old this month.
Fans can assume Dani’s real-life birth experience was a lot less dramatic!
Elsewhere in EastEnders, all is not as it seems for Mick with yet more baby drama.
There was a shock revelation that his wife Linda was pregnant with another man's child.
