Emmerdale viewers could be about to witness Will Taylor's (Dean Andrews) world implode when the truth about DI Malone (Mark Womack) is exposed.
Next week, Emmerdale spoilers reveal that Will is paranoid that he's seen Malone hanging around.
His daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) tries to calm him down while Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) heads off to a religious retreat.
But he's still worried, refusing to listen, and is seen making an urgent phone call, with it not known what he's up to.
Later on, Dawn sees her dad picking up a gun from an old friend of his and she demands an explanation.
She isn't happy, reminding him of what happened the last time he brought a gun into the house.
But Will is still panicked about Malone.
Elsewhere, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) notices the church door has been left open to goes to investigate.
Once inside he discovers Harriet has returned from the retreat and is sobbing – but will she confess all to her ex?
Back at Woodbine cottage, Dawn finally reaches the end of her tether with Will and reveals the truth – she shot and killed Malone.
Will is gobsmacked as Dawn explains what went down, however she leaves Harriet out of her story.
Harriet walks in on the conversation though.
Will the vicar confess her own involvement in the story and reveal all about the sordid affair she was having with Malone before his death?

And if she did, how would her fiancé Will react to the gobsmacking news?
Will surely won't blame Dawn for killing Malone, as the villainous detective terrorised the family for months and made Will do a lot of illegal activity.
He also almost killed Dawn – or made her take her own life when he produced a bag of heroin and pressured the recovering addict to take it all and overdose.
Luckily, Harriet was there to save the day and knocked Malone out before things escalated and he was killed.
How will the wider village react if Harriet's involvement is exposed?
And will Cain be able to tell something fishy is going on when he finds her in the church?
Emmerdale currently airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV
