Game Of Thrones’ Kit Harington and The Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar are in trouble – as the new leading suspects in season 2 of Netflix’s Criminal.

The new line-up for the detective drama has been revealed – with Kit shrugging off his Jon Snow persona to put on a snazzy suit for the new series.

Then there’s Kunal, who’s the furthest thing from the well-meaning sweetheart Raj Koothrappali for this dark turn.

They are joined by Catastrophe’s Sharon Horgan, and The Slap’s Sophie Okonedo who will both be heading into the witness room for their own tale.

Each character will be interviewed for a different crime, and it’s up to the detectives to get the information they need – whether they be guilty, innocent, or a witness.

Line Of Duty’s Rochenda Sandall and Lee Ingelby, Shubham Sharaf and Corrie’s Katherine Kelly have reunited as the London-based investigation team trying to crack the case.

Set entirely in the interrogation room and the adjoining recording room, each witness will be grilled in an intense cat-and-mouse game as the team try and trip them up until the truth finally comes out.

Will they get the answers they need, or will things be left with even more questions?

Netflix’s Criminal is used to having big names being grilled on the desk, with the show taking on a multi-country format alongside Germany, France and Spain last year.

Last year saw David Tennant take on the role of a man whose daughter was killed, while Hayley Atwell appeared as a witness to a boyfriend’s crimes.

Criminal season 2 launches 16 September on Netflix.
