JESY Nelson's boyfriend has taken to Instagram to share a cryptic message about the "rollercoaster year" that saw her leave Little Mix.
Sean Sagar posed for a portrait after 29-year-old Jesy announced she was quitting the band because of her mental health.
Actor Sean, who has been dating Jesy since April, posted on Instagram for the first time since the news.
Smouldering towards the camera in a white hoodie, the Our Girl actor wrote to fans that he was staying "positive".
"This year has been a rollercoaster from start to finish," he captioned the picture: "But despite all the negatives this year I’m grateful for everything it has taught me.
"Now as we approach the end of 2020 let's reflect on the positives."
He previously broke his silence on the topic by sharing a video of US TV presenter Steve Harvey talking about finding success by learning from failure.
"You don't succeed more than you fail, that's not how it works," Steve is heard saying. "Failure's part of the process to becoming successful."
Jesy also took to Instagram this week, undergoing a dramatic make-under days after leaving the band.
Leaving her hair in natural curls and keeping her make-up minimal, she posted a picture smiling at the camera and captioned it with a love heart emoji.
Just days before, the star explained she was taking an "extended" break from music, saying she found the "constant pressure" of "living up to expectations very hard".
Despite this, she insisted that her time with her bandmates had been the "most incredible time" of her life.
She continued: "I can't thank you all enough from the bottom of my heart for making me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
"You have always been there to support and encourage me and I will never ever forget it."
