Kym Marsh was forced to deny she was behind the mask this weekend, as Masked Singer fans predicted she was the mysterious Harlequin.
The former Coronation Street star, 44, took to Twitter to stamp out the rumours, having been inundated with messages from fans since the episode aired.
On Saturday night, The Harlequin was the first to perform, belting out a rendition of Rihanna's Diamonds before the panel of judges.
Giving away a few hints, Harlequin insisted she was a "joker," and also admitted she'd once played a male character in a musical.
Watching from home, certain fans were convinced Kym was behind the mask – claims she has been forced to deny.
On Sunday, Kym tweeted: "Everyone asking if I am on masked singer. No sorry. Guess again guys xx."
Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley was disappointed by the revelation and admitted she'd wondered whether Kym was posing as the Harlequin.
Lisa wrote: "Babes I'm not surprised….I said to Al last night…..that's Kim as Harlequin. are you sure it's not you?????"
Yet again, Kym stamped out the rumours, replying: "Deffo not me! X."
However, in the thread below, certain fans pointed out Jason Manford had insisted he wasn't behind the mask during last year's series – and was later exposed as The Hedgehog.
One said: "But that's what Jason Manford said last year, and he turned out to be Hedgehog!"
"Ahh but would you be able to tell us if it WAS you?" a second wondered.
And a third suspicious fan wrote: "That's what someone on the masked singer would say."
Is Kym behind the mask, or should viewers look elsewhere?
Masked Singer airs on Saturdays at 7pm on ITV.
