Lauren Goodger says her mum has snubbed her pregnancy and hasn't heard from her saying 'it's a shame'

LAUREN Goodger revealed her mum has snubbed her pregnancy and said it's a "shame" she's missed out.

But the former Towie star, who is relishing becoming a parent, insists she's not upset by it.

She told OK! magazine: "No, I haven’t heard from her or seen her, but she’s probably got her own stuff going on. It’s a shame if she misses out, but I’ve got so much going on I need to keep positive and focused on my baby.

"It doesn’t upset me, but it’s a shame she’s missed out on the pregnancy."

Lauren previously spoke of her troubled childhood while appearing on Celebs Go Dating in 2019.

She told how mum Cheryl gave her to her dad when she was four because she couldn't cope but kept her two siblings.

It affected her past relationships, which she clung on to for fear of rejection.

But she has since found happiness with Charles Drury, and the pair can't wait to be a family.

At the weekend Lauren splashed out on a luxury babymoon ahead of the birth.

The 34-year-old booked a penthouse suite with builder Charles, 23, and documented the five-star experience on Instagram.

Writing to her 782,000 followers, she said: "Staying at one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever stayed in and that’s a first for the UK!! The food was unreal in your exclusive restaurant 'The Firepit' … perfect timing before our baby is arriving next month !!

"Thanks so much for your hospitality I can’t wait to come back, maybe for a round of golf ⛳️😉 now back to the penthouse"

Friends of the star remarked on how happy she looked, with one writing: "You two are so suited – so glad you found each other . I’m so looking forward to seeing your beautiful baby – enjoy that beautiful hotel xxx"

Lauren posed for snaps in a snakeskin dress, as Charles gushed in the photo on his Instagram Story: "Lauren making pregnancy a sex thing"

The next day the loved-up pair relaxed in the hotel's plush spa.

Their penthouse suite included a three-piece sofa set, pool table, and panoramic views of the Canterbury countryside.

And Lauren couldn't resist ordering room service after admitting she has felt hunger pangs during her pregnancy.

She said she felt like she was "starving" last week and had "200" aches and pains.
