Netflix has released the third season of Ozark with viewers waiting over 18 months. The new series will find the Byrde family in yet another bind as they try to stay afloat and meet the demands of the cartel. Ozark season three has some fresh faces this year as the story expands out.
Who plays Frank Cosgrove Jr in Ozark?
Among the new characters this year is teen Erin Pierce (played by Madison Thompson), cartel boss Omar Navarro (Felix Solis), Ben Davis (Tom Pelphrey).
Another new character is antagonist Frank Cosgrove Jr (Joseph Sikora), whose father is part of the Kansas City Mob.

Power plot hole: Fans spot huge error with Tasha framing Q in finale
Sikora’s biggest role has been playing drug dealer and right-hand man Tommy Egan in Starz hit series Power.
The actor has starred in the show since it debuted back in 2014 and has cemented his stat status.
Starz has subsequently announced a slew of spin-offs to Power following the original show’s series finale in February 2020.
Sikora will be leafing his own show called Power Book V: Force, which is within the same universe and takes place at the same time as Book II: Ghost and Book IV: Influence.
Prior to finding fame in Power, Sikora has had many other roles in Boardwalk Empire, Underground, The Heart, She Holler, and True Detective.
Other credits include Jack Reacher as a sniper, Netflix’s off-beat comedy Maniac, Jacob’s Ladder, Chicago P.D. and The Intruder.
Sikora started out in theatre after studying at Columbia College Chicago and graduating with a BA.
He will next be starring in short film Teeth & Lung and The Separatists, according to IMDb.
Speaking to Pop Culture about his role in Ozark, Sikora teased: “You know, the guy is just, I would say that he’s just more…
“The circumstances for him are even more unfortunate for Tommy.”
Sikora continued: “He’s a far more pathetic character, as most of the characters on Ozark maybe except for Wendy really are in so many ways, so it just is a totally different world and he’s a totally different character.”
The American actor said the only similarity between Tommy and Frank Jr was they liked muscle cars but bar this, they were “miles apart”.

Ozark season 3 Netflix release date: When is Ozark out?
He said he was a fan of Ozark which helped when he auditioned for the role.
Sikora explained how Frank Jr was as a character was more on the periphery than Tommy in Power.
The star said: “You’re not a lead on the show. It’s a different level of acting.”
Fans will have to tune in to see how things pan out for Frank Jr, who sounds like something of a loose cannon.
Given the gritty nature of Ozark, things may end badly for Frank Jr. with the cartel now making its presence really felt in the show in a way with the arrival of the head.
