Walter Deveraux (Trevor A Toussaint) is caught in a troubling predicament in Hollyoaks, as it’s become apparent that he has a dark secret — and it’s one that sinister Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) knows a lot about — and thus he’s forced to go to extreme lengths in an effort to give his blackmailers what he wants.
With his dark reputation preceding him thanks to Martine’s (Kelle Bryan) words of advice, Felix showed up in the eponymous village during recent episodes, and it didn’t take long for viewers to realise that he’s as sinister as his ex had made him out to be.
Following Toby (Bobby Gordon) and Celeste’s (Andrea Ali) meddling, Felix arrived in the hopes of getting to know his children, but Mitchell (Imran Adams) hasn’t been all that keen on wanting to get to know him.
In the coming episodes, Mitchell refuses to have anything to do with his dad, and matters get worse when the newcomer arrives at the hospital in the hopes of speaking to his son.
In an emotional showdown, Felix locks himself in a room with Mitchell, and reflects on his choices, before begging for a chance to prove himself.
Later, it comes to light that Felix has something over Walter — and he’s intent on using it to blackmail him in order to help him with Mitchell.
Walter makes excuses, but Felix simply isn’t interested, and suggests that Mitchell might like to hear a few home truths — prompting Walter to agree to his terms.
In an effort to get Mitchell and Felix together — thereby giving Felix what he wants — Walters asks for Scott’s (Ross Adams) help.
The question is: will Scott be willing to help Walter after all that he’s done?
If so, will he prove successful in convincing his boyfriend to speak to his dad?
Or will Felix reveal Walter’s big secret?
