Strictly Come Dancing 2021 launched on BBC One on Saturday night with a brand new line-up of celebrities hitting the dancefloor. Loose Women panellist Judi Love is one of the famous faces taking part in the competition this year. In a recent interview, Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse shared her thoughts on the line-up for the 19th series and confessed to being a fan of ITV daytime star Judi.
Motsi will be joined on the judging panel this year by former professional Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, and head judge Shirley Ballas.
In a recent interview, the Strictly star shared her excitement for the celebrity dance show’s return.
Motsi also noted how she felt more “settled in” on the judging panel now, as this will be her third series as a Strictly judge.
“It’s a joy to be part of the Strictly Come Dancing family,” the dance star remarked.

When asked to share her thoughts on the celebrity line-up for the new series, Motsi confessed she’s already a fan of one contestant.
The Strictly judge explained she doesn’t always recognise the celebrities on the show, but revealed there are two familiar faces this year.
She said: “I knew of Adam Peaty because I loved his performance at the Olympics.”
Motsi admitted she also already knew of Judi Love prior to Strictly, admitting: “I’m such a huge fan.”
She continued: “It’s always quite exciting for me on this show as I’m always discovering new personalities as someone who is from Germany.
“They’re just a great cast this year,” Motsi added, praising the 19th series line-up.
It seems Motsi isn’t the only Judi fan, as a number of viewers have already chosen the Loose Women star as their favourite to win the Glitterball Trophy.
Many fans took to Twitter on Saturday’s launch night to share their thoughts on Judi.
@micheal_debarra wrote: “Judi and Graziano FTW #Strictly.”
“I love so many of this year’s contestants – Judi Love has such infectious enthusiasm! #Strictly,” @MissLauraMG commented.
@SamFarmer2 agreed: “Judi looks fun #Strictly.”
“I definitely rooting for Judi! #Strictly,” @BovaryCee Tweeted.
Motsi’s confession could lead to speculation Judi may get extra marks from the judge on the BBC dance contest.
However, she’s not the only judge to have a connection to a Strictly contestant this year.
In a recent interview, BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker revealed he and Shirley Ballas have been friends for years.
The pair first struck up a friendship in 2019 when they climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania together to raise money for Comic Relief.
Strictly Come Dancing returns Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
