The Crown season four will launch on November 15, Netflix has confirmed, alongside a brand new trailer.
The streaming giant has released a tense trailer which features Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II, Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corrin as Princess Diana.
It is thought that the fourth instalment of royal drama will look at the years between 1977, which is when the third season ended, and around 1990.
With that in mind, viewers could expect to see Margaret Thatcher's time as Prime Minister, the 1982 Falklands War and, potentially, watch the Buckingham House intruder Michael Fagan break into the palace and find his way to the Queen's bedroom.
In the teaser clip, a serious looking Colman as the Queen can be seen in all her finery riding out on the back of a horse.
She says: "Something as important as the monarchy simply cannot be allowed to fail."
The trailer also shows a glimpse of Princess Diana's story, with the late royal being hounded by paparazzi.
