What has Denise Gough starred in?

Gough is an Irish actor and voice actor born in Ennis, County Clare.

The 41-year-old had no theatrical aspirations when she was a child, leaving home at fifteen to move to London.

After several years of working menial jobs, she decided to take a Saturday acting class and won a place at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in Wandsworth.

After graduating in 2003, she has worked across film, theatre, television, and even voiced popular video game characters.

Robin Hood

After several years appearing in shows such as Casualty, The Bill and Waking the Dead, Gough’s first role in a major film was in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood from 2010.

While this was a small part credited as “Village Mother”, the role would help lead her into more projects.

Robin Hood was a gritty retelling of the titular character played by Russell Crowe and co-starring Cate Blanchett and Mark Strong.

The film is available to watch on Amazon’s Prime Video.

Divinity: Dragon Commander

Gough’s first venture into video game voice acting, this role would ultimately prompt her to voice one of the lead characters in one of the most popular games of all time.

Released in 2013, Divinity: Dragon Commander is a real-time strategy game and serves as a prequel to the Divinity franchise.

Gough voiced Catherine, a general near the beginning of the game.

The game is available to purchase on Steam.
