THOMAS Frake is just one of the budding contestants on the culinary journey of the MasterChef 2020 series whipping up an array of delicious concoctions for Judges Greg Wallace and John Torode.
But who is this promising chef and what do we know about him?
Who is Thomas Frake?
Thomas, 32 is from London.
He is a banking and international finance worker.
His love of food came from his travels to Greece and Spain where he tried all sorts of Mediterranean food for the first time.
He said: "I love to understand why and how ingredients are cultivated where they are, the people that farm them, how food then influences culture."
Is Thomas Frake on MasterChef?
Yes- Thomas is competing on the latest series of MasterChef on BBC One.
After competing in the show for the last couple of months he has made it into the semi-finals.
He is keen on the technical side of things, stating: "Understanding process and ratio is very important to me. It's as much about the chemistry as it is about the passion and art."
Serving up a traditional roast dinner to the judges, Gregg Wallace was quick to let him know he thought his dish was fantastic.
He exclaimed, "I think this dish is a triumph" with John quickly adding, "I'm very excited by your roast dinner."
Does Thomas Frake have Instagram?
Thomas has his own Instagram account here.
He regularly posts photos from the series and his foody creations.
After standing in one of the knock-out line-ups he writes on his Instagram page, "MasterChef UK is like nothing I have ever experienced. The mental torment is profound and every decision truly life-changing."
Thomas is in the last nine contestants competing for the coveted MasterChef apron.

MasterChef 2020 continues tonight (Monday, April 6) at 9pm.
This is the 16th series of the show and it is made up of 24 episodes.
