Classic Aston Martin worth £1million stolen off the street in daylight raid

A CLASSIC Aston Martin worth £1million was stolen off the street in a daylight raid.

The silver 1965 DB5 Vantage saloon — similar to the one driven by James Bond in Goldfinger — was snatched in July.

The car, registration HJB 753C, has a unique front fog light tinted yellow and “Vantage” badges on its side panels.

AX, a company helping with the recovery of the Aston Martin taken in Wilmslow, Cheshire, is offering a £1,000 reward for info.

A spokesman said: “We are calling on the public to support finding this national treasure DB5.”

They added: “Old and young people alike have an affiliation with this
classic motor which will forever be synonymous with James Bond.

“This vehicle certainly stands out and we are keen to preserve a little piece of British history and hope for its safe return.

“That is why we launched this appeal to help find this iconic car. You may even know the person who took the vehicle – we ask that you do the right thing and get in touch.”

AX can be contacted via the website ax-uk.com or phone number 03700 116720.
