A HERO cop has been stabbed by a knifeman after being called to a disturbance in a village in North London.
The officer has been described to have been "extremely lucky" not have more serious injuries after the incident in Harefield.
Met Police confirmed cops were called to Dovedale Close at 2.44am last night to reports of a "disturbance".
Officers could hear noises coming from inside the premises when they were confronted by a knifeman.
The man threatening officers before taking the blade and stabbing one of them in the arm.
Cops used a taser to subdue the suspected who was then detained.
A 34-year-old man was arrested for affray and assault on an emergency service worker causing grievance bodily harm.
Police said the man remains in custody as of 6pm on Sunday.
Detective Chief Inspector Thomas Bowen said: "These officers were courageous and extremely lucky that they were able to walk away from this incident with minimal injuries.
"This is an example of the dangers that our officers face, whilst doing their role as police officers.
"We wish the officer a speedy recovery.”
