This is the shocking moment a knife-wielding man on a bicycle thrusts a giant blade through a car window and appears to stab the passenger in the vehicle.
Dash-cam footage shows the man dismount his bike along a busy road in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham and produce the weapon from up his sleeve on April 4.
He then pushes the blade through the open car window while the vehicle waits in traffic and appears to stab a person sat in the passenger seat.
The suspect, who is wearing a black hoodie and tracksuit bottoms, then picks his bicycle up and casually rides away from the scene while the car disappears into the distance.

The man then dismounts his bike and leaves it on the pavement before approaching the car as it waits in the traffic
The attack is believed to have taken place at around 6pm on April 4.
During the footage, the knifeman rides his bike along the street before spotting the vehicle and dismounting his bike.
He thrusts the knife at the passenger through the car window before backing away and revealing the size of the knife.
The driver immediately tries to swerve around the other cars to escape as the suspect picks up his bike and rides away from the scene.
MailOnline has contacted West Midlands Police for comment.
Footage of the incident was uploaded by the website Birmz is Grime, where it has since been viewed by more than 26,000 social media users.
The scenes come just months after a 19-year-old was left fighting for his life after he was ‘chased down the road by a group of men’ and repeatedly stabbed in Alum Rock, Birmingham on February 9.

Emergency teams, including the West Midlands Ambulance Service, were called to the scene after the victim suffered multiple stab wounds.
The teenager was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency surgery, police later said in a statement.
The motive for the attack is unclear and police enquiries are ongoing to establish what happened before and after the teenager was stabbed.
