Why ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’ Star Angela Simmons Promotes Her Body On Social Media

Angela Simmons has carved out a lane for herself by promoting body positivity. The Growing Up Hip Hop star actively promotes healthy living on her social media and encourages women to say no to plastic surgery and build the body they desire through hard work with exercise. Simmons has been criticized for some of her bikini shots but has no intention of slowing down her posts anytime soon, as she says it’s her way of inspiring women to be their best selves.

Angela Simmons has received criticism for showing off her body on social media, including from her former friend and co-star Romeo Miller

Miller and Simmons were once close friends and even toyed with dating but their friendship fell apart throughout the last season of Growing Up Hip Hop. Miller insists that he has no hard feelings toward Simmons and that they simply grew apart from each other.

But Simmons and her family believe that Miller cut her off after feeling rejected by her not wanting to be in a romantic relationship. She also accused Miller of not being there for her when her ex-fiance and father of her son was killed.

Despite Miller’s stance that he doesn’t have any negative feelings toward Simmons, fans believe that a recent comment about her social media hints to otherwise. An avid fitness junkie, Simmons is known to share videos of her working out and posts photos of her progress online. Many of her photos are of her in little clothing showing to show the full scope of her progress. Miller believes that Simmons has curated her image online for attention.

“Angela, she likes that camera. Even the way your sister moves, I don’t wanna be connected to it,” he revealed to Simmons’ sister Vanessa in a scene from the show. “I don’t wanna be that guy on Shade Room being messy, you sister and NBA players, [her] taking pictures like she’s a social media model…You’re Angela Simmons, you don’t have to do all of that.”

Angela Simmons says she shows her body off to inspire others

Simmons isn’t letting the naysayers stop her from showing off her naturally built body on her social media channels. She explains in an upcoming episode of Growing Up Hip Hop that she’s worked hard to get the results she has with her body and has always been health conscious.

More importantly, Simmons wants to be an example to other women, especially in a world where women are running to a plastic surgeon instead of a gym. Her sister Vanessa has also been open about her struggles with her body image after gaining weight in the last few years. Simmons wants to show her sister that she can get the body she wants by working hard and not to be discouraged by combatting images online.

Clean up after your messy little ones with these simple and easy hacks – The Sun

LOCKDOWN has been messy for us all, especially those with kids. A survey has revealed that 44 per cent of parents have turned their backs for a few seconds only to find their little terror has tipped food all over themselves.

And now the house is their playground, you are spending an average of nine hours cleaning up after them. But it needn’t be a costly chore with these handy hacks . . .

LITTLE ARTIST: You might be among the third of parents who have found felt-tip artwork on the sofa, or the 30 per cent who have had ink on their walls. Soak the mark with hairspray then rub gently with a damp cloth. The alcohol in the hairspray lifts out the ink.

MAKE-UP MAYHEM: If your little one has smashed your favourite powder, which has happened to 31 per cent of parents, pop the broken pieces back into the container, crush them up and add a few drops of rubbing alcohol. Let it soak in and then smooth it down with the back of a spoon. Leave overnight. It will be good as new.

GLITZ AND GLAM: Glitter has been spilt on a quarter of the nation’s carpets. Wet the carpet with a damp cloth to pick up the excess glitter. If they’ve made a mess on the table, press Play-Doh on to the glitter to clean it up — and the kids will have a glam ball.

SLIME BALL: To get the gunk from a ball of slime out of the carpet, pour a solution of one-third water, two-thirds vinegar on the stain, then brush gently. Pat dry with a towel. Repeat until all the slime lifts out then vacuum.

MUDDY HELL: If your kids are caked in mud, let it dry. Then lift the hardened mud off with a spoon, gently rub in laundry detergent and soak for 15 mins. Scrub the stain with a wet toothbrush and wash as usual.

Harry and Meghan ran up a $53 million taxpayer bill in just 2 years says Brit politician

A former member of Parliament and a current member of the Privy Council — the body that officially advises the monarch — has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for bilking British taxpayers out of tens of millions before running for the Los Angeles hills.

Norman Baker, a former Liberal Democrat for East Sussex and author of “… And What Do You Do?” – a tome critical of the royal family – writes in the Daily Mail that, “From their wedding day to March 31 this year, I estimate the British taxpayer has forked out more than £44 million ($53 million) to provide Harry and Meghan with, it seems, whatever they want.”

After a study of the couple’s finances, an outraged Baker has broken it down for all of us, adding that the bills keep coming even though the couple has moved to the United States. Baker casually points out that while Harry and Meghan may be rich — the couple together are estimated to be worth over $25 million — they aren’t rich enough to afford their lifestyle. Like his Uncle Andrew and Aunt Sarah, Harry enjoys the good life at other’s expense.

The Wedding

The largest bill the taxpayer had to deal with was the couple’s wedding, which Baker says cost a whopping $40.8 million — of which the royals personally contributed just $2.4 million. In comparison, Prince William and Kate’s 2011 wedding cost $24.3 million.

The bill was so high due to security, which is said to have cost over $35 million, but there were other extravagances. According to Baker, the Ministry of Defense ordered 20 new trumpets for $109,000, a PA system, private contractors and flags and banners ordered by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) — to the tune of $1.83 million. Then there was also the $1.2 million bill for crowd control barriers, Jumbotron screens and waste management.

The Houses

After the wedding, the couple were set to move into an apartment in Kensington Palace. But, after the $1.7 million renovation to the 21-room apartment, Harry and Meghan decided to live elsewhere. The queen granted them Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate and so another $2.9 million was spent on sprucing that up. The couple stayed less than six months before bolting for Canada — all the while promising to pay back the taxpayers for the latest renovations. Baker notes: “The couple have said they will repay the renovation costs for Frogmore Cottage. They have offered ($22,000) a month, which is also meant to cover rent. Assuming a rent of ($12,000) a month, it will take them 25 years to repay the renovation costs, and that is without interest or any ongoing maintenance.

Baker also adds that “since the wedding, Meghan is also said to have amassed a ($731,000) jewelry collection (including items gifted to her by Harry and the Queen), a collection larger than the late Princess Diana’s, including a stunning new diamond ring.”

The Staff

Baker estimates that the cost for Harry and Meghan’s staff – including PR gurus, office staff, secretaries and lawyers – cost British taxpayers an eye watering $721,000 over two years.

“Until March 31, when they ceased to be working royals, the team of up to 15 included a private secretary (who can earn a salary of $177,000 a year), PR director Sara Latham, and a full team of servants including a housekeeper ($36,500) and a nanny,” Baker writes – although he notes the nanny would have been paid from private funds.

Travel

The couple have been shamed into flying economy lately, but their tastes bend toward first class. While friends have flown them in private jets, in March 2019, Bakler writes Harry “took a helicopter journey costing an estimated ($6,000) from London to Birmingham and two days later told a crowd at Wembley Stadium to ‘wake up’ and act on ‘the damaging impact our ways are having on the world.’” The couple also have taken trips to Australia and Singapore (not to mention multiple flights to and from Canada and the United States) and overall, Baker estimates their travel cost at $1.2 million.

Personal Security

Due to Harry and Meghan’s love for moving and travel, security costs are overwhelming, and the couple rang up an $8.5 million bill before they quit the monarchy.

While they often flew privately (paid for by celeb pals), “they were always accompanied by protection officers funded by the taxpayer. The bill for this, including business-class travel for the officers (as confirmed by former royal protection officer Ken Wharfe), and any overtime and away-from-home allowances, has fallen to the public,” Baker writes.

Because they moved three times in two years to places outside of London requiring “bespoke” security provisions, the costs ballooned even further. The couple’s several house moves have also pushed up the costs to the public.

“It is much more expensive to provide bespoke security in an exposed location outside London — such as Frogmore Cottage — than it is in Kensington Palace,” Baker writes, adding, “As the couple are keeping Frogmore Cottage as their base in this country, a security detail is believed to remain in place there even though it is unoccupied and there is no sign of the couple coming back any time soon.”

In Canada, their personal security squad stayed in a $1,300 a week Airbnb and they were protected by officers from the Metropolitan Police as well as Canadian Mounties “incurring a bill for both British and Canadian taxpayers.”

While the couple is promising to pay when they make money, Baker writes, “In the deal reached with the Palace, Harry and Meghan have kept their HRH titles but will not ‘use’ them.  This is significant as the status provides a mechanism for support — notably financial support from the taxpayer for security — to be provided to them.”

Allowance from daddy

Harry and Meghan are said to be receiving around $2.5 million a year from Prince Charles — who gets his money from the Duchy of Cornwall. All this may seem fine except that Baker writes, “Controversially, Charles is allowed to classify this allowance to Harry as a business expense, which he can set against tax. This means that the public purse continued to support Harry for as long as Charles continued with this approach to funding the Duke.” This would mean that tax loss is an estimated $2.32 million for two years.

It all adds up to a hefty bill the public must pay for a a couple who turned their backs on Britain.

BGT mind-reader cracks up audience playing epic prank on Amanda Holden

https://youtube.com/watch?v=OApu0q5Xbv4%3Fversion%3D3%26rel%3D1%26fs%3D1%26autohide%3D2%26showsearch%3D0%26showinfo%3D1%26iv_load_policy%3D1%26wmode%3Dtransparent

Amanda Holden ends up victim to the most brilliantly simple prank on Saturday’s Britain’s Got Talent, after being dragged on stage to take part in an act.

Mind-reading mentalist Lioz Shem Tov is hoping to win over the judges with his act, but in order to show off his skills to the best of his ability, he needs a glamorous assistant.

Cue Amanda Holden, who gets roped in to helping him out on stage.

In tonight’s first look, Lioz makes Amanda pick out a box (though it doesn’t look like she has much choice in which one she gets) and stand back to back with Lioz to choose a plastic bag from within the box.

Amanda chooses a red bag, and is then told to count to ten slowly before the pair will turn to the audience at the same time.

While Amanda is holding her carrier bag and counting to ten – with a few false starts – the audience can see Lioz peeling and eating a banana with his back to her.

As the countdown nears its end, he can be seen stuffing the last of the banana into his mouth before the magic happens… but can you guess what the trick is?

Will he make the banana reappear in the bag? Maybe even a whole bunch of them will pop up from thin air into Amanda’s carrier bag?

Nope. As the pair turn around and Amanda is ready to be wowed by some seriously impressive illusion, Lioz reaches over and pops his banana skin into Amanda’s bag for her to get rid of. Classic.

Sometimes it’s the simple things that get the biggest laughs – judging by the audience’s reaction. But will Amanda bin him when it comes to the vote?

Britain’s Got Talent airs on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.

Mike Tyson Still Chokes up When Talking About the Tragic Death of His Daughter

When he was at the top of the world, Mike Tyson was perhaps the toughest man on the planet. That said, nobody is unbeatable, and even “Iron Mike” could lose.

While it sucks to get knocked out in the ring, one of the hardest moments for Tyson was something that was totally out of his control. That moment was when he found out that his 4-year-old daughter, Exodus, had died.

Even to this day, when Mike Tyson talks about his daughter’s tragic death, he can’t help but to tear up.

How Mike Tyson’s daughter died

RELATED: The Ultimate Rap Battle Between Mike Tyson and LL Cool J

In 2009, while the former champion was away in Las Vegas, his family was living a normal life in their home in Arizona, according to ABC News. Exodus and Miguel Tyson were playing around the house, while their mother was busy cleaning the place. While Exodus was in the playroom, her neck somehow got caught by a cord that was attached to their treadmill.

Her mother asked Miguel to check up on Exodus, and they found her “in distress.” Their mom freed Exodus from the cord, called 911 for help, and then gave her CPR, but by then, it was too late. By the time that ‘Iron Mike’ heard about this and flown back home, Exodus had died in the hospital.

How Mike Tyson reacted to this news

The death of a child is obviously a very traumatic moment, and Tyson didn’t handle it well. In an interview with HBO’s Real Sports, the former champion let all of his emotions out and told the brutally honest truth.

He recalled that, when he first heard the news, his first instinct was to grab his gun and “go crazy.” He didn’t know who he’d hurt, but that was, as he said, “his best thinking at the time.”

Then, when he got to the hospital and saw his daughter, those thoughts went away. Instead, he was filled with the pain and agony that any parent who had just lost their child would feel. He turned to cocaine, saying that he needed to feel high to get through the experience.

The former heavyweight champion of the world was so choked up and brought to tears that he ended the interview right then and there. He told the interviewer, “You have to go now, you understand, right?” and then asked the camera crew to take the equipment off of him.

The cameras were still rolling as Tyson left the interview area, and afterward, he was crying and apologizing for crying.

After binging on cocaine to cope, Tyson sought for a more permanent solution to his pain, and that was in his future wife, Lakiha Spicer. The bond between the two strengthened after this tragic event, and a little more than a week after his daughter’s death, the two were married.

Spicer has since helped the former champion turn his life around. He went from throwing crazy drug-fueled parties to being a relatively sober guy. Tyson just smokes weed now, and he even has his own business in the weed industry. On top of that, the two have two children with one another, a daughter named Milan and a son named Morocco.

Milan and Morocco joined Tyson’s large family, which includes his other kids from his past marriages and relationships. His other kids are named, according to FanBuzz, Mikey Lorna, Miguel, Rayna, and Amir. That said, according to The New York Times, he also considers himself as the father to Gena, who’s the biological daughter of his ex-wife, Monica Turner.

Celebrity Gogglebox sign up All Saints’ Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt again for the next series – The Sun

ALL Saints’ Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt will be back on the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa later this year after signing up for a second series.

The singers, who were a hit when they made their debut on the Channel 4 show last summer, will take their seats again when filming resumes later in the year.

A telly source said: “Nicole and Melanie were hilarious when they gave the show a whirl and bosses were desperate to get them back.

“The success of Celebrity Gogglebox depends on the chemistry between the stars and how much they enjoy being a part of the show — and Nicole and Melanie just ticked all the boxes.

“Both of them jumped at the chance to return to the show.”

Last week I exclusively revealed DJ Zoe Ball will also be on the show with her son, Circle star Woody, and presenter Rylan Clark-Neal will be back with mum Linda.

Pop star Martin Kemp and DJ son Roman will also be taking part.

I can’t wait for this to start again.

Fox: My dealer trouble

LAURENCE FOX may be rather posh, but he got so tired of being cast as a toff that he’s just taken on a very different role – as a drug pusher.

The actor had to get hair extensions for the part in new Netflix drama White Lines and it proved so convincing he was quizzed by officials every time he tried to get on a plane.

Laurence said: “I play this hippy dealer and I was stopped at Heathrow countless times over a period of about six months.

“I did love playing womanising Lord Palmerston in Victoria. But I don’t just want to be Lord whatever or Colonel. I easily get bored.”

Laurence revealed that he had the hair extensions removed, but fans of his hit show Lewis – in which he played DI James Hathaway – still give him a hard time about his image.

He said: “The amount of s**t I get on Tw*tter for my long hair with people saying, ‘Why can’t you be more like James Hathaway?’

“Occasionally I respond and I say, ‘Hathers is dead!’ And they don’t like it!”

Noah Cyrus Says Growing Up as Miley Cyrus’ Sister Was ‘Unbearable’

Keeping it real. Noah Cyrus candidly revealed the downside to growing up in big sister Miley Cyrus’ shadow.

Noah, 20, took to Instagram Live on Saturday, May 16, to talk about her new EP, The End of Everything. At the time, the “July” singer grew emotional when discussing the track “Young and Sad” because it details her experiences being related to Miley, 27, as she became a teen sensation.

“Being born in the family I was in, everybody gave me such a hard time for having a hard time being Miley’s little sister,” she said during the virtual chat. “But, you know, I always felt like I was that person that no one gave a s–t about due to what people said to me online.”

The “I’m Stuck” artist continued, “It was absolutely unbearable. And that’s why I write, ‘My sister’s like sunshine / Always bringing good light wherever she will go / And I was born to rain clouds / When they blew the flame out / Blessed in her shadows.’ Because, that’s why everybody always says to me, that no matter what, I was going to be in that shadow.”

Noah admitted how “hard” it was for her to not believe this sentiment because it was repeatedly reinforced by others. The “Lonely” singer revealed that she was told she “wasn’t enough” as well.

“I just wanted to open up about that once and for all, because that’s been a big part of my life,” she explained of making the emotional track. “I probably won’t talk about it anymore, but I just wanted to put it out. Everybody always says, ‘You’re giving the people power by seeing it,’ but I can’t control seeing it. You guys are young, you know the internet. And it’s been really tough on me, so that song is just pretty tough to get through.”

Last month, Noah opened up being referred to as “Hannah Montana’s sister” over the years. “Somebody not even coming up to you and calling you by your name? That’s going to really f–k you up as a kid,” she told tmrw magazine. “Make you feel, like, you don’t f–king even matter to the population — for them to not even know your name.”

Noah has been making a name for herself as a solo artist beginning in 2016, when she released her debut single “Make Me (Cry).” She dropped her first EP, Good Cry, in 2018.

Meanwhile, Miley rose to fame as teen on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. Since the series concluded in 2011, she’s gone on to have a successful music career that led to her first Grammy nomination in 2015 for Best Pop Vocal album.

Along with Noah’s rise in fame, Miley has spoken out about how protective she is of her little sister. The Black Mirror alum has also opened up about wanting Noah to stay true to herself amid her rise in the industry.

“I think it makes you jaded, it makes you guarded, and I don’t ever want her to get like that or your style or the way that you think because you want to please people,” Miley said on iHeartRadio’s “Label Defiers With ZICO Coconut Water” podcast in 2017. “I really hope that she never feels those pressures and I hope other people respect her and don’t actually make her something she’s not.”

New homeowners pick up keys for first time since coronavirus lockdown

And they’re off! New homeowners pick up the keys as they become among the first in UK to move house after coronavirus lockdown

  • Easing restrictions on lockdown means people can move into new properties
  • Thousands of people have had life on hold in storage while waiting
  • Among those to move today are two couples in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
  • Jennifer Hendriksz speaks of her relief to be finally handed the keys to her home
  • Here’s how to help people impacted by Covid-19

House movers have told of their relief at finally being able to move into their dream homes just hours after the coronavirus lockdown was lifted.

Two couples are among the first property owners to finally get the keys to luxury apartments in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, after building work was brought to a halt by the restrictions brought in to stop the spread of Covid-19.

Jan and Penny Gillett and Philip Adcock and wife Jennifer Hendriksz were among tens of thousands of Britons whose plans were thrown into disarray when the Government ordered no one to move house and all non-essential work to cease.

Jan and Penny Gillett were finally able to move into their new home at Blenheim House in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, hours after the coronavirus lockdown was lifted

Philip Adcock and his wife Jennifer Hendriksz also moved into the same building as the Gilletts after they got their hands on the keys this week

Ms Hendriksz, an IT project manager. told MailOnline: ‘It’s such a relief to be finally moving in.’

While builders were allowed to continue working, contractors faced huge difficulties in getting supplies and had to alter the work practices to maintain social distancing.

But now these owners – who have had all their possessions in storage for eight weeks – have been able to take hold of the keys and walk into their new homes for first time today.

Ms Hendriksz , 34, said: ‘We were supposed to move at the end of March. Everything was going according to plan until the lockdown kicked in.

The young couple and their dog Freddy were supposed to move into their new home in March but the coronavirus lockdown meant their plans were disrupted

Freddy appeared pleased with his new home when the couple were finally able to get inside and take their possessions out of storage

‘The developer could not get the supplies they needed to finish off the build, like carpets and kitchen appliances, which meant the apartment was uninhabitable.

‘Obviously we couldn’t move into a property that does not have a working kitchen or bathroom.

‘The whole supply chain dried up. And the lockdown restrictions meant we weren’t allowed to move anyway.

‘We were supposed to be in the short-term let for two or three months but it has ended being five months.

‘We only have our clothes with us. All our furniture has been put in storage. We have our own space but it’s not the same as being in your own home.

‘But with the Prime Minister’s announcement on Sunday that some restrictions were going to be ease the developer was able to get the last things they needed.

‘The property was signed off by the building control inspector on Wednesday so now we can finally pick up the keys.’

She added: ‘We know a lot of other people have had it worse than us.

Developer Lloyd Lewis handed over the keys to their new £700,000 two-bedroom apartment today

Jan Gillett said he and his wife Penny were relieved to finally be moving into their new home located in the centre of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

‘We’ve both been able to keep working from home and our dog Freddy has loved it that we have been here all the time, but it’s still such a relief to be able to finally move in.’

Jennifer and husband Philip, an executive at Jaguar Land Rover, paid £700,000 for their two-bedroom apartment in the centre of Leamington Spa.

New owner Jan Gillett says after all the drama he and his wife Penny are never moving again.

‘It’s such a relief to be finally moving, it’s been a very long saga,’ Jan, 73, a retired management consultant told MailOnline.

‘We wanted to down-size from our four-storey Regency house and this development was ideal.

‘We moved out of our house in November last year and into a short-term let which was going to take us until the end of March when we were supposed to move in.

‘But like a lot of building projects it overran because of the lockdown.

‘So we had to move in the dead of night to find another short-term let.

‘Now we are finally going to get the keys. For us the relief at being finally being able to move in comes in spades.

‘I’ve kept a bottle of champagne to drink when we move into our flat. Maybe that will be tonight.

‘The stress of moving house undermines you. It’s terrific we’ve made it.

‘We are definitely not going to move again. They are going to have take us out in a box!

Philip Adcock and his wife Hendriksz were finally able to stand on their balcony after the Prime Minister’s announcement on Sunday meant some restrictions were eased and the developer was able to get the last things they needed

Property developer Lloyd Lewis said the purchasers at Blenheim House, pictured, were able to move into their new homes within hours of government easing the lockdown

Jan and Penny Gillett paid £700,000 for their two-bedroom apartment.

The development, Blenheim House, is in the centre of historic Leamington Spa with views of the town’s ornamental Victorian park, Jephson Gardens.

Property developer Lloyd Lewis said the purchasers were able to move into their new homes within hours of government easing the lockdown.

Mr Lewis, director of Housestyle Countrywide, told MailOnline: ‘It’s been a very difficult situation and I would like to thank all our contractors, suppliers and staff who have worked so hard to bring this iconic project to completion.

‘Although our purchasers are very keen to move into their new homes, they have been incredibly understanding and supportive of our predicament.

‘We are delighted that they will be some of the first people to move since the lock down eased and we hope they will enjoy living in their new homes.’

Evander Holyfield opens up on Mike Tyson relationship, ear bite and trilogy fight as pair return to boxing in their 50s – The Sun

EVANDER HOLYFIELD has stated he would be willing to fight former rival Mike Tyson in a charity bout to complete their trilogy.

The 57-year-old – who beat his American compatriot in both 1996 and 1997 – recently called out Iron Mike as well as ex-heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe.

And he has once again expressed his desire to face The Baddest Man On The Planet as he ponders a return to the ring nine years after his last fight against Denmark's Brian Nielsen.

His comments are on the back of Tyson declaring he is willing to dust off the gloves and compete in exhibition bouts.

Speaking to Sky Sports about a potential charity fight against Tyson, Holyfield said: "I don't know, you would have to ask him!

"I wouldn't ask nobody to do anything they don't want to do.

"But it's for charity. If we can work something out that works for everybody then it's a win-win-win."

Holyfield shocked the world in 1996 after stopping Tyson in the 11th round, with their rematch a year later resulting in one of the most controversial and talked-about moments in boxing history.

HOLY MOLY

Tyson was disqualified after biting off a chunk of his opponents ear, and commenting on the infamous incident, Holyfield added: "When people look at me, I know they are looking at my ear.

"People think I got the whole ear bit off!

"People don't understand the relationship I have with Tyson.

"Tyson and I were both on the losing squad trying to make the Olympic team in 1984, that tells you how tough amateur boxing was in my day.

"When Tyson became heavyweight champion of the world, it made me realise that I could do it.

"Tyson and I had sparred and he was a tough guy even back then, when he was 17 and I was 21."

Reflecting on how he managed to combat Tyson's style, Holyfield said: "Mike was like a cobra. His arms were short so you think he can't hit you if you pull your head back. But he hits you!

"That's what happened to a lot of fighters – people pulled their head back but got hit by his left hook.

"That's what Mike did. Me? I made adjustments – I could fight inside, outside, long style, short style, if I needed to bang then I could bang, and I took a good shot."

Brits can meet up with 1 pal or family member in park if they keep 2m apart – but Dominic Raab sparks MORE confusion

BRITS can meet one friend or family member they don't live with in a park – as long as they are two metres apart.

Dominic Raab said this morning that two people from different households can meet up as long as they remained socially distant.

Yesterday it was confirmed that people could go out and meet up with one other person outside their household from Wednesday – such as a friend or a member of their family.

But if they are from another household they must stay 2m apart at all times.

And the coronavirus laws ban groups of more than two people meeting up at once.

Anyone wanting to meet their mum in the morning and their dad in the afternoon, could do so, Mr Raab said.

But they can't yet go into someone else's garden and spend time there – the rules will only apply in public spaces, he said.

And the tweaked rules will only apply in England too – as Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will follow slightly different guidelines as they have a higher rate of infection.

But the First Secretary of State today sparked MORE confusion when he said that one person could meet two of their parents at ONCE.

Mr Raab was asked on Radio 4: "From Wednesday, you can meet one person from outside your household. Does that mean you can't meet two relatives at the same time, for example, parents?"

He replied: "As from Wednesday, people can go outside to parks and certain sports where you can keep social distancing at 2m, together, with others members from their own home.

"If you are going to the park and you can stay 2m apart, you could meet up with other members of your household."

And he was asked again: "So, you cannot meet two parents at the same time?"

And he added: "You could if they are two metres apart."

Government sources said that Mr Raab had misspoke, and he meant to say that only members of the same household can all go to the park together.

Anyone else has to remain distant, and gatherings of more than two people from different households are still banned.

Mr Raab also appeared to  spark confusion when he said the country shouldn't be going back to work until Wednesday.

He said that guidelines would come out today and tomorrow to help employers plot a path back into the workplace.

But Boris Johnson said last night that the Government would be encouraging people to return "now" and didn't mention a date.

Labour and unions complained millions of people were being told to resume their duties with just 12 hours' notice and no official guidance about to make their offices safe.

The PM said last night: "We now need to stress that anyone who can’t work from home, for instance those in construction or manufacturing, should be actively encouraged to go to work.

"And we want it to be safe for you to get to work. So you should avoid public transport if at all possible – because we must and will maintain social distancing, and capacity will therefore be limited.

"So work from home if you can, but you should go to work if you can’t work from home."

In a video message yesterday evening, the PM:

  • Urged Brits to get back to work if they can't from home
  • Revealed Brits would be allowed to sunbathe in parks and play unlimited sport from Wednesday – and can go on day trips
  • Said anyone coming into the country by air would be forced to quarantine
  • Schools will start going back from June – but only if the infection level is low enough
  • Announced he would hike up fines for people who break the rules from £60 to £100 – up to a max of £3,200 for multiple offenders
  • But he warned that pubs, cinemas and mass gatherings would be off the cards for months to come

Boris told the country of his plans to return to a new normal: "We have been through the initial peak – but it is coming down the mountain that is often more dangerous.

"We have a route, and we have a plan, and everyone in government has the all-consuming pressure and challenge to save lives, restore livelihoods and gradually restore the freedoms that we need.

"But in the end, this is a plan that everyone must make work."
